Another super talented family artist with us this month, welcome our Amaya Agency space cat @illich-mujica - its such a pleasure to have him. There are not a lot of talented, hardworking, detailed maestros in the NY scene such as him.
His sets are always a journey gliding us through melodic sounds from house to techno. Always done with a sensitive mixing approach and a personal touch.

This set was recorded on a night that felt like one of the best musical experiences in my life.. Back to back with SanDro, my Croatian soulmate ever since we met during a set of Hernan Cattaneo in Antwerp.  SanDro took us to this stunning location somewhere lost in the Adriatic sea in Croatia. We set up our gear (after carrying it all ourselves over the mountains 😅)and just started playing.  The vibe was amazing, the energy of the people dancing touched my soul deeply.  I will always be grateful for the symbiosis that we could share behind the decks that evening. A big thank you to all of those who created the magic with us  ❤️🙏

In times of lockdown, where do we dance? Hell yeah... right in your living room with friends that you care for and music that brings us back in the club. So, get ready, invite your loved ones, inform your dearest neighbours, pack your snack-bag from your local snack-bar and goooo!

A few weeks ago, that is exactly what we did. Label Unknown was invited to host a private party and I was honoured to play a 2-hr. set after my good friend Dawn Sight, who opened beautifully down-tempo to warm up those muscles for a long dance!

It has been a while since I posted something. After our livestream on May 5th, I could not switch off the -always present- critical voice in my head and I did not dare to share my set online (even though my friends told me that I should have). It has been a rather challenging time for me as I am struggling to value myself, my successes, talent and connections. It's a time with impeccable downs, but music helps me to release the negative thoughts and bring back some of the joy in life and I feel very much supported by my love, friends and family.

When I listened to my set from the night, for a moment the critical voice was silent and it brought me back to the happiness and joy that I experienced during the event. How great it was to unpreparedly play a selection of tracks for a crowd that was visibly enjoying! It gave me a sense of pride... a feeling that I did not experience for a while. Thank You!

The set reflects the vibe of the night. Vibrant with minimal and melodic elements, deep vocals and powerful house. I leave it up to you how you perceive it, but for me this is the best I have done so far and I am more than happy to share this with you!

I saw it basically as anopportunity to push myself further instead of doing a break or being extremelly disapointed. i used those times to produce more, i did an album, i studied a lot more sound engineeering and kept ding music specially different music without the pressure to do club music

i was a radio guy.. with a radio show in 1995.. dj by chance when i was invited to do a university party on a bar.. and then same party on a club . it happen that i stay as resident dj for 16 years...
