18 months, ten EPs and two vinyls later Artminding is back with its second Various Artist compilation. “Künstlerische Freiheit II” – which means as much as the regularly quoted artistic freedom in show contracts and therefore the musician’s right to realize his current musical concept without any guidelines from the organizer – comes with eight originals.

The compilation mirrors the spectre of the label perfectly. Its 
election of artists and tracks reflects the vision of gathering talents from all over Europe and even the world with a mighty thing in common.

With “Halluzination” still in the late echo, please welcome back Annett Gapstream. Her track name “Poetry” could not have been chosen any wiser.
After the latest ride this track stands out through its balanced vibe, some kind of life story put into melodies and synths, which finally ends with a certain felicity and overall satisfaction.

-I guess it's a bit over 24 hours, which has happened when organizing events as well as in childbirth. So I've had pretty good reasons for it.

➤ About this VA:
100 years ago the world lived in chaos. Huge wars between humans, as well as great advances in technology that changed forever the face of the world, a world that according to many artists, lived as a prisoner of the rational mind and that did not allow us humans to understand life and the Universe in its wide spectrum.

This is how, with its mystical origin in Dadaism, Surrealism was born. A movement that sought to explore and venture into the limits of the human mind through art. Initially literature, but also reaching the visual arts and so much more. Then decades later, the first psychedelic artists were born, much closer to music in its origins and who represented a rebellion against the established norms in the face of a world in chaos.

Today after 100 years, the scenario is complex again. There are wars, there is a technological revolution and the world is coming out of a great chaos caused by a virus that produced a great crisis. Can we perhaps learn something from the ideas of surrealism, to understand today's world?, remove ourselves from the entirely rational mind to which technology and the "information society" push us, to finally understand the world from an alternative perspective?

Making this compilation was a leap into the void, a mixture of psychic automatism and cadavre exquis (exquisite corpse) that ended with a very free, authentic and very fresh result, with the wonder of the unexpected, including very purely electronic songs, with ideas of techno and even psy trance, like other more tropical ones with psychedelic cumbia, of course others more pop and the others, those that are usually there in our music, the ones totally trippy.

We hope you enjoy this great compilation full of freedom and unusual ideas, which will help you connect with another world through music, rhythm and love, thank you eternally!

Born in the dark streets of Cairo, grown to the unforgettable forests of Santa Esmeralda, spending its teen years in Bombay and Tangier markets, mature into the deep spacey Jungle of Ghana we proudly present you a new label from the land of the pyramids: SHANGO RECORDS invites you to an unheard world music psychedelic trip: like through a colorful kaleidoscope we will melt down Indian and Pakistani Vibes, Arab-Tek and Oriental groovy vibes, Afro-Beat rhythms n' pieces, Cumbia Tropicana flavors and cosmic Ghetto-Latin vibes into forbidden sounds of frenzied electronic dancefloor rituals. Outside traditional paths these driving grooves and polyphonic structures take the adventure seeking dancer to Dionysian highs and places never been before.

And as they approached the spot, Minli realized that the yellow was flowers — in front of them was land full of blooming trees. The trees were heavy with bright blossoms and as the wind blew through the branches golden flowers showered down like rain. As they reached the trees and breathed in the spicy scent of the flowers, Minli gasped. “It’s beautiful,” she said. The children laughed again, and the brilliant red of their clothes and the golden yellow flowers of the trees seemed to make Minli’s eyes dazzle with color. drS left his lab and brought his science to the people. This is his second offering for Shango Records. These two tracks will heal through the power of bodywork. Lucas Lead and Pangolea are the gatekeepers in the golden gates of Port Maje.
