In astronomy, a new moon marks the first lunar phase. The original meaning of the term is the first visible crescent of the moon, which is briefly visible when it's low above the western horizon just after the sun has gone down. As a new moon represents the start of a new lunar cycle, it symbolises new beginnings. People use the energy of a new moon to achieve their goals or start on a new project. They also reflect on their old goals and set themselves new ones.

Rituals associated - Some like to harness the energy of the new moon in order to fulfil their visions. One way you can do this is by lighting a candle or some incense in a quiet space where you can relax. Write down what you want from life and focus on these goals while the new moon is in the sky. Others will create an altar with sacred objects such as pictures, stones and crystals, and take a ritual bath with sea salt to clear them of any negative energies beforehand.

We know Thom through his role as co-founder of Global Hybrid Records.
The first touchpoint was a party collaboration of Love Foundation and
Global Hybrid in 2019 at Zodiak in Brussels. The second was a remix he
and his partner did as Fanfara Eletronica for our release by Marc
Mahfoud in spring 2020 and now we are delighted to release his solo EP
Galileo Expension, including great remixes by Ahau, Lamas Dream and in
this case the wonderful ka:lu.

About the EP*
With "East In The Jungle EP" Anber is taking you to a trip through Middle East and Africa. Anatolian instruments and african percussion are combined in order to bring you the beauty of both worlds. "Seligo" offers up a melancholic feeling, combining a groovy guitar pattern with evolving synth sounds. African voices and piano chords add a sweet taste, bringing back memories from the past."Monima" brings some tensity to our trip. A repeating kora pattern is accompanied by fairy voices and heavy percussion, taking us to walk through dark forests.Finally, "East In The Jungle" concludes the story in a crossroad between both worlds. A groovy percussion pattern together with the sound of a santoor, bring a feeling of resurrection and freedom.
