Our newest guest is Toronto-based Borella, and we couldn't be more delighted.  

A rising star in the Canadian and international electronic music scene, Borella has garnered support from none other than Nick Warren, via his SoundGarden label. She is busy on the DJ circuit, with regular appearances at CODA/Toronto, supporting the likes of Jeremy Olander and Einmusik, and even travelling to Tulum this spring to perform alongside Armen Miran.

"Kazuki’s passion for hypnotic, progressive house and techno permeates everything he does - whether he’s spinning lush daytime grooves or dark headcavers on a late night dance floor.

Based in the city of Canberra on Ngunnawal country, Australia, Kazuki has established himself as an adept DJ and electronic music producer building on a lifelong love of music.

Perfecting his skills in the outdoor festival scene, Kazuki’s enthusiasm for creating energy and atmosphere in his craft sees him as a sought-after underground DJ, performing at dusty dancefloors across his home country for more than 10 years.

A curator of music sees Kazuki as co-owner of progressive house label Late Night Music alongside Melbourne producer James Beetham, providing a globally focused platform for Australian and international artists who share their vision for deep progressive beats.

Kazuki’s studio productions and remixes have seen industry support from and played by artists including John Digweed, John 00 Fleming, Guy J, Nick Warren, Subandrio, Max Graham, Anthony Pappa, Jamie Jones, Ewan Rill, and Mike Griego with releases on labels such as JOOF Recordings and Deepersense Music.

He’s performed at a diverse array of festivals including Babylon, Psyfari, Dragon Dreaming, Psyland, and even a solar eclipse festival in Indonesia - as well as prominent venues and parties across Australia. As well as his own top billing sets, Kazuki has played support slots for artists such as Guy J, Extrawelt, Andhim, Jamie Stevens, Kazu Kimura, Late Nite Tuff Guy, and Merkaba.

2021 saw the release of his EP Samsara | Nirvana on Late Music (including a remix from Subandrio); single The Seventh Aether on John 00 Fleming’s JOOF Recordings; and multiple remixes including This Kind for Ewan Rill. 2022 sees his second release Witches on Deepersense Music, a remix for Liam Sieker and Fazlen, and his third EP Object on Late Night Music."

Roh und unerbittlich hämmern die Wellen gegen die Klippen. Ohne jeden Anschein von Müdigkeit rollen sie auf die Küste zu und waschen den Fels rein. Sie sind die Vorboten des nahenden Dramas, welches Schon bald über die Region hereinbrechen wird. Doch noch ist Zeit und während alle Anderen Vorkehrungen treffen, starre ich wie paralysiert hinaus auf Meer. Stundenlang beobachte ich das chaotische Treiben. Wie immer habe ich das Gefühl, dass mir der ewige Meister eine Lektion erteilen möchte. Fest entschlossen dieses Mal das Geheimnis Poseidons zu entschlüsseln, habe ich die das kühle Nass fest im Blick. Rhythmisch und unkontrolliert erstürmen die Wellen weiter, das vom Menschen zeitweise eingenommene Gebiet und weisen die Krone der Schöpfung in ihre Schranken. Nur ich halte weiter einsam die Stellung und lasse mir die Gischt ins Gesicht wehen. Bis sich die Stimme der Vernunft meldet und altklug verkündet „ Es wird Zeit“.

Erlebt mit Moonbootica eine Stunde purer Ekstase und lasst euch von ihm mitreißen in eine Welt der Beats und Melodien.Gekonnt umschifft er mit euch die Untiefen und nimmt euch mit hinaus auf den unendlichen Ozean.
