Operating from sundered soils, Eftersom is a triangle formed between Ravage Sentimental, close collaborator Jérôme Darmois, and Chris Vella aka Moderne Romance. The term “Eftersom” is used as a nod to their cross-border bond, a bond galvanized by a simple love of music, unwavering creative drive, and a fair collection of imperfect studio gear.

With their LP “Lie” on Paradise Children Records lined up for the second half of 2023, here the trio present “Tourne Tourne”, a precursor to the project which comes coloured with remixes made with love by Niv Ast, Mufti, Radial Gaze, and Ravage Sentimental herself. Radial Gaze offers up two unique takes: a ‘Pop’ and an ‘Indie’ version, by the way. The prolific Russian duo, formed by skilled producers Andrey and Stas, spared no efforts to deliver such insightful interpretations. 

Premiered here, their 'Pop' remix lays pellucid twinkles over tight, sharp rhythms, bringing the energetic original to a journey through the low-BPM realm wrapped with a Synthpop crust and a sober but upbeat gait.

Summertime is here and there's no better way to celebrate it!
"Blanco Sombra" is Syd dePalma's debut on Rotten City. An EP where love, hate, and fear converge at a single point. Featuring two original tracks, "Puerto Leone" and "Cuerpo, Sombra y Espalda," the Spanish producer, musician, and vocalist has delved into the darkness to extract every color, finding a wonderful balance between various elements such as light and darkness, with classic and new methods of composition and production. The result is a fluctuating blend of new wave, psychedelia, and post-pop, creating a sonic space comparable to the feeling of nightfall, where one cannot distinguish between their strengths and weaknesses, yet still feels comfortable in the ebb and flow of sensations between good and evil.

On the other hand, Delone, fascinated by the vibes of "The Knife" or "Fever Ray" in "Puerto Leone", has transformed the vocals from the original track into an abstract wall of sound that drives the remix as a backdrop. It is 100% focused on the club scene, yet avoids the typical 4x4 beat to transcend genres on this amazing journey of breaks and epic chords.

Calystarr - Passion For My Mind (Neurotiker Remix)

The forthcoming instalment on the Italian label My Secret Agenda is a true love affair: Polpette (50% of the Holla Estrella project) made a remix for the Italian duo Idiot Idols 10 years ago – which happened to be his very first official release. The current collaboration has a fun fact: “Love Affairs” is actually the result of an extremely twisted remix the Idols did of a track from Holla Estrella. Due to the incredible amount of beautiful changes, the lads decided to sit together and turn it into an original. “A work that encapsulates all our love for music, melodies, and above all that 4/4 kick that has accompanied us over the years”, they said.

The plot thickens even more when the other 50% of Holla Estrella, Frankie Vertigo, jumps in with a solo remix featuring his typical classy and progressive sonority.

Premiered here, the now original comes packed with enticing arpeggios, thrilling percussive elements, heavy synth riffs, trancy leads, and a beefy bassline, resulting in a proper dance-floor-oriented Dark Disco cut.
