Every day a label is born is a ray of hope for the community, an indicator of the indisputable state of health of our scene.

Mexico is such a strong reference when it comes to high-quality underground electronic music. Kyma Komplex (@kymakomplex), who began his journey last January with a thunderous single, with Corresponsal & Veltrán, the owner of the label.

For the second release, the promising label brings Sixtoagusto (@sixtoagusto) back with his new material “No Va Parar”, an EP that consists of 4 original tracks, one of them accompanied by a featuring with Montjoie.

This EP, like the label, leaves nothing to the wayside and confirms the mission that electronic music always had: play with the present and advance into the unknown, beyond entertainment.

Hailing from Guadalajara, Joseeph (FREEDL007) is another member of the boiling & sizzling Mexican underground music scene. Owner of a characteristic acid-in-space sonority, the young producer has already had his work published on some of the most respected labels amid the so-called Indie Dance/Dark Disco scene: NEIN, Freeride Millenium, Playground, Creatures Of The Night, Phisica, Innisfallen, and Discos Platino, just to name a few. While his forthcoming EP on Roam, in collaboration with Ademarr, is in the pipeline, he cooked a holy-cow theme to mark the launch of his Bandcamp adventures.

The single, “Cow Season”, transmits its message through a beautiful combination of mellow synth layers, a trippy progressive lead, cadenced percussive elements, and, of course, a cowbell line extravaganza. Guess what? Joseeph got a fever, and the only prescription is more cowbell.

'When a poster girl of Dark Disco and a defender of Indie Dance with a spiritual twist unite, the result can only be explosive. Marseille-based producer Bonnie Spacey and Berlin-based Franz Matthews just did that with their ‘Trust, Process, Control’ EP, delivering us two timeless dancefloor bombs that are sure to set every stage on fire, proudly introduced to you by HIFI/ LOFI Records.

‘Out Of Control’ directly raises the tempo, energy and darkness threshold up to peak time levels, taking us on a crazy rollercoaster ride of endless up and downs throughout 7 minutes of pure euphoria. Making us eagerly wait until the 3:40 minute mark to introduce us to the song’s again simple & catchy vocals enticing us to let everything go and get wilder than wildness can ever be. 
Fun and geeky side-fact : all the synths of this tune have been made with one single classic monophonic synth : the Roland SH101.

The forthcoming instalment on the Italian label My Secret Agenda is a true love affair: Polpette (50% of the Holla Estrella project) made a remix for the Italian duo Idiot Idols 10 years ago – which happened to be his very first official release. The current collaboration has a fun fact: “Love Affairs” is actually the result of an extremely twisted remix the Idols did of a track from Holla Estrella. Due to the incredible amount of beautiful changes, the lads decided to sit together and turn it into an original. “A work that encapsulates all our love for music, melodies, and above all that 4/4 kick that has accompanied us over the years”, they said.

The plot thickens even more when the other 50% of Holla Estrella, Frankie Vertigo, jumps in with a solo remix featuring his typical classy and progressive sonority.

Premiered here, the now original comes packed with enticing arpeggios, thrilling percussive elements, heavy synth riffs, trancy leads, and a beefy bassline, resulting in a proper dance-floor-oriented Dark Disco cut.
