And then gradually from there back down towards some of my all time favourite magic and melodic forest 💛✨️

Lost in Between ~ New year's sunrise 🌅 Twilight, Forest, Hitech 💛✨️👀

A 2.5 hour sunrise journey from full-blown ambient/downtempo building gradually into Forest. This is a set I've been wanting to create for ages, it's filled with some of the deepest and most beautiful music I have along with a lot of the Forest artists that inspire me the most. It might sound like an odd combination of genres but actually I think these polar opposite ends of the spectrum go together very well, because these genres are designed with a lot of intention and have the capacity to invoke a whole myriad of different kinds of feelings and experiences. 
Traversing through the depths of beauty, light, playfulness and darkness. This is music that expresses all aspects of this reality. Made with the intention of taking you on a journey through the depths of your own being, I hope this set will invoke some potentially unvisited feelings and thoughts in those who listen, it's music that certainly has the power to do that 👽🖖✨️

A carefully curated Forest sunrise journey comprised of some of my all time favourite music, with a beautiful downtempo outro to bring the morning in after traversing the depths of the Forest 👽🪄✨️

This set was created to sacrifice one's ego. It was designed to be like a deep-breathing meditation, alternating the breath-in and breath-out motion along the tracks. The only thing that mediates these ups and downs are the tribal percussions which are a common theme in this set. I invite you to meditate and give yourself completely to this psychedelic trance. Don't be afraid to let go of your ego. Embrace the darkness to reach the light.

Yoav Levy, better known as KINAI, is a 29-year-old producer from Ginot Shomeron, Israel. For over six years, he has been crafting high-energy, nighttime psychedelic music. Proud to present my first collaboration piece with Varázsló. We cruise through unearthly ambience and deep sceneries to have a safe, meditative passage to the true self.

This release is a nod to slambient music and the great Endless Knot.

This is the first collaboration between Varazslo and a newcomer from Hungary, Agazur. Agazur only started making music a while ago and this is his first release and now working on his debut Ep for Zenovoid records."

Back in 1996, TIP RECORDS released the original version of Nick DOOF’s Goatrance classic “Mars Needs Women” on his album “Let’s Turn On.”

Fast forward to 2025, Japanese veteran producers of the Goatrance scene, Yasunori Matsuda (UNI) and Tsuyoshi Suzuki (PRANA), have teamed up to create a monster of a remix of this seminal track bringing fat, groovy production to go with the original’s classic sawing leads and striking melodies.

Now based in Berlin, Germany, Sentient Number Six is the darkpsy project of Matthew Martinez, who was born in Virginia, USA in 1992.

Heralding a fearsome coalescence of all things dark and psychedelic, his production style is characterized by deep, ominous basslines, immersive, layered atmospheres, and a sinister palette of organic and synthetic leads.

From eerie, textural forest, to grinding, industrial-edged darkpsy, Sentient Number Six's sound is as identifiable and exciting as it is unique. Bringing his wide and diverse influences to life with his sound design and production prowess, he crafts sonic journeys that blur the line between the natural and the mechanical, leading audiences into the furthest reaches of the psychedelic plane.

"This mix has a solid mix of old and new music, including both my own productions and collaborations with other producers. There are quite a few tracks that are finished but unreleased, as well as a few work-in-progress tracks that I just wanted to test out in the context of a full set. Normally when I play at parties, I like to play DJ sets that showcase a blend of my own music and collabs, as well as tracks from other artists and friends that I'm enjoying at the moment. But for this podcast mix, I decided to do more of a production showcase and only play my own music. Under my old alias 'Junklan' I played a variety of multi genre set styles ranging from heavy DnB / Bass sets all the way to downtempo / psychedelic / chill sets. I may still play under this name occasionally in the future, though my musical path has now shifted to new horizons
