Triple Distilled = an electro/idm/downtempo and other undefined electronica that sums up under this alias of Alex Tolstey of Boshke Beats Records. In this episode you can listen to his set, recorded in August 2022 at The Peninsula (chill out zone) of ZNA Gathering festival in Portugal. About Alex Boshke: "A walking jukebox, a fusion of electronic dance music that is hard to categorize as one style, his eclectic, unpredictable, trippy and spontaneous free style dj sets could be heard almost at every major festival in the world in the last 25 years. His versatile selection from disco to techno from house to electro breaks etc, brought him a status of one of the most ahead of time underground record producers ( almost 300 records were executed till today ) and DJs, who still prefers to stay out of commercialism and stick to the undergrounds most exciting sounds of today, yesterday and mostly tomorrow. I had a you beaut time last month at MEDELIRIUM. An intimate, beautiful doof thrown by a few mates of mine from Bloom Collective.

They went above and beyond expectation with a magnificent professional set up for a little party. I had the honour of playing Saturday Arvo, right before the local legend Tom Baker.

Luke Bartolo - Almost In The Snakepit

Unfortunately not recorded live due to the festival cancellation, but recorded at home as a way of coping with the news.

This year, in a move alien to professional dj’ing, I was asked to play what influenced me! What a fantastic brief, but with so many directions it could take, it took a weeks just to narrow down where to go with it, let alone what tracks to include.

In the end I went all the way back to my roots and put together a set that mostly represents the sound of the Melbourne rave scene when I first discovered dj’ing back in ~1996. Some of these tracks I found on pirate radio stations, others heard at raves or in record stores like Octave, DMC or Central Station. I’ve also included some newer updates of a few of these tracks, as that is exactly what the brief stood for… Influence. For a track to be so relevant 30 years after being written that it is simply updated, rather than covered is testament to the timeless nature of classic rave music.

Being old, some of these tracks are pretty hard to mix, so I'll be honest, this one took a few takes to get right.

On The Way To Daad Gathering 2025, welcome PETER BERNATH, passionate record collector since the late 90’s, DJ and producer hailing from Budapest, Hungary. He's also the founder of Plug & Lay, an event series and biweekly show on Tilos Radio. Since 2011 he has been working also as the head of RTS.FM's Budapest studio. At that time in 2011 he also started to collaborate with Naga, performing b2b DJ sets and later on hosting underground electronic music events and podcast series as well on Radiozora.fm under the name of Lost Minute.
