A musician, DJ and producer, Monsieur Van Pratt has been making headway in the Nu-Disco scene from his home of Mexico City.

Strongly influenced by 70's disco, 80's funk and jazz music, his production is an amalgamation of these sounds, finely tuned for maximum effect. Four original compositions of disco grooves, sumptuous sax and jazzy keys. Proper!!

About Flemming Dalum : 
Known as "King of the cut", in  1983, Flemming stumbled across Koto "Chinese Revenge", a discovery that should soon lead Flemming into a brave new world matching his own, with synths and electronics being the heart of the music. The passion became strong and shortly after the Koto discovery, brought him to his first trip to Milan, Il Discotto, Discomagic, Non-Stop, Merak etc. to investigate the Italo phenomenon in detail. The following years Flemming visited the Italian distributors 11 times which later proves to be one of the major reasons to the fact that he has one of the worlds most complete collections of Italo and Disco.

Horsebox Disco #63 (Pete Ellison and Philoop 2.0)

For the second episode of the new "Mix Sessions," Pete Ellison donned one of his signature Hawaiian shirts, fired up the decks, and lit up the disco lights for a journey through multiple genres.

The new format of the show gives our Waltons a chance to showcase their unique sound over a two hour broadcast. The first hour packed full of glitterball grooves and disco magic, featuring three of his own new productions. The second hour shifted gears into house music, full of beefy basslines and a tougher, more driving vibe.

The session was meant to wrap up after two hours, but the energy was too good to stop. Pete commandeered the airwaves for an impromptu third hour, diving into old skool house classics and bangers from his vinyl days, before rounding off the night with a few funky breakbeat tracks.

Whatever your motivation as a musician, its hard to deny that most would wish for their music to have even a fraction of the significance that Nile Rodgers productions do. The ability to make not just era-defining, but also forward thinking and peerlessly dynamic music, meant that these creations very quickly became, and have remained such an essential part of the musical fabric that it's so so easy to take them for granted. No doubt having witnessed at least a thousand women of all ages lose their mind the moment any Chic, Sister Sledge or Diana Ross riff booms out at a wedding, its just something you accept and you no longer need to even analyse why 'I Want Your Love' is about as perfect a record than has ever been created…ever. Same with 'Let's Dance', 'Notorious', 'I'm Coming Out' and some of the more celebrated productions featured here. By hand-picking these 20 significant tracks from his epic production discography, Rix has created a sublime mix that allows the classics to breathe in full extended (and at times alternately mixed) form, next to lesser known gems, resulting in pretty much 90 minutes of the greatest music known to man. 
 
With Nile Rodgers recently releasing his fascinating and candid auto-biography 'Le Freak…' and even more excitingly been found in the studio with sons of his legacy, Daft Punk, there's no better time to revisit one of the people largely responsible for why Southern Hospitality and the world in general find themselves in the club week after week, still in search of that perfect groove.

International Dj, producer and remixer Jonathan Douglas Braverman, known as Ladies On Mars, has been on a musical journey since the conception of 2006 of his successful Minimal Techno music project. The artist born in Buenos Aires has accumulated numerous achievements, although it was his 2007 hit "We Are Not Lesvicon", published on Xela Digital, which really impelled Ladies On Mars to be in the eye of the storm, reaching within the TOP 40 of Beatport's Minimal. Another of his great achievements was in 2009 when he won the Beatport contest for remixing the song "Peace" by the group Depeche Mode, his remix became the best-selling band in Beatport for several years.

Since then, the native of Argentina has continued to evolve, mutating its sound, perfecting from the Minimal Techno of its beginnings to the Tech-House, current Funky House. Remixing artists like Aka Aka and Home Video. Editing his music on labels such as Prison Entertainment, Emi Music or his own label: Boom Zwapp Records.

In addition to having an impressive subsequent catalog of solo and collaborative productions, Ladies On Mars has also offered remixes for numerous top-level musicians, including: AKA AKA, Daniele Petronelli, Min & Mal, Home Video, etc ...

Outside of the studio, Jonathan is a touring DJ who is in great demand and his daily agenda is fuller. Taking their Marsian sound and a unique mix of spatial sounds with a lot of groove mixed with Funk, House and Tech-House directly to the dance floor in some of the best clubs, festivals and events in the world in countries, including: Germany, Spain, Mexico, Peru, Bolivia and Argentina.
