This mix is the sound of spring and the changes it brings. Holding onto the highs, the trebles, the tweaks and the whimsy. In a world that seems intent on getting smaller I cherish the flavours and colours from far and wide. As our spring rains fall they draw me outwards to a place of light and hope. Still holding on to the steady rhythms of the deep months that are almost behind us, those deeper tech beats that I’m always drawn to still remain. Memories drawn from old tracks made new .. Leonard, Lhasa, dub tempos, those 303 acid sounds that still roll around in my brain. Slower rhythms, gorgeous vocals, ups & downs and with them an awakening to the promise of all that lies ahead. 🌍 My name is Marcello Vanni (aka tps, MoD, 2lfmf, toolateformyfuneral and many other monikers), A country guy from Teramo, Italy, returned to the decks after a pause of (too) many years (family, work..you know how things goes.), in 2022 at age of 50, following  my passion for music, i decided to jump  again on the booth, with public presence on the local scene around my village and here on SC.

Now based in Nelson, BC, her aim is to bring these melanated rhythms to life on the dance floor. Her Sekhem Soundz Volume series is a dedication and offering to the Goddess Sekhmet, Bastet, Mahadevi (The Supreme Godess) and the entire Neteru pantheon.  The series will be dedicated to deities, friends, family and other inspirations.

Born and raised in beautiful BC, Canada, Leon Musk has been deep into the underground dance scene since the late 90's. With 25 years of DJing under his belt, he has grown a love and passion for Deep and Tech house.
