"Although playing a lot more digital nowadays, I switched back to nearly „vinyl only“ for this mix. My first intention was to make a moody driving house mix that fits the cold and dark time of the year but that got out of control after about 20 minutes. so there it is my pumping bumpy tech house mix, plunging in the same trancy ambiance, from which it emerged."

Lakehead’s music reflects his passion for classic UK-sound and broken beats. He combines with it’s fast-paced techno, house and all that suffices his bustling rhythmic style. Never leaving out a slight note of ghetto grind. Besides his own imprint NABLA, he is founding member of the Berlin based Strictly Strictly Crew and currently active as live act, producer and DJ. The title of his latest “Stingray Ultras EP” to be released on Strictly Strictly speaks for itself and comprises a versatile mixture of harsh driving rhythms broken up agitated syncopations and underlined with lush synths spheres.
