I'm a solo musician based up in Bradford, but recently returned from 3 years living in the capital. I'm not a fan of having a page dedicated solely to myself, but I'm pretty sure my friends on Facebook who aren't bothered about the things I have to say about myself (I know right?) would prefer it if I shifted it all to one place.

This year I brought out my first record, 'Roam', a 6-track EP about the highs and lows of living in London. It's got all the instruments on it that I know how to play, and was produced by Luke Yates at Small World Music Services. You can hear it here: www.mickydey.bandcamp.com

Nema-Kuta is a drummer first and foremost, spending much time learning and performing drums.

Having worked with some renowned musicians and producers he creates a fresh sounding selection that roots from across the world.

In 2017 he started North Fire Sound alongside DJ & producer Papa Shanti, Sista Nem & Samphire. A custom built heavyweight reggae sound system. 

Highlights of Nema-Kuta's career include performing at Glastonbury, Boom Town, Edinburgh Wee Dub Festival, Beat Herder, Shambala. Including sets on Mungo's Hi Fi, Arcadia, Electrikal Sound System and working alongside An Dannsa Dub, The Police Rave Unit, Club Samedia, Dr Meaker, Dub Mafia, and Jinx in Dub.

Depending on the dance his sets can cover Dub to Jungle, World to Techno, Disco to Garage, and beyond.
