Parlophone’s burgeoning dance imprint, FFRR, have confirmed their stance as one of the most exciting dance labels right with the latest single from Just Kiddin. Following the hugely successful FFRR release of Oliver Helden’s ‘Gecko’, Just Kiddin’s ‘Thinking About It’ sees a team up with influential dance channel Eton Messy. The track has so far clocked up an impressive 500,000 plays across Youtube and SoundCloud and been supported by Annie Mac, Pete Tong, Blonde, Bondax, Clean Bandit, Gorgon City, Hot Natured, Todd Edwards and Moon Boots since the track was secretly premiered as the opening track on The Magician’s ‘Magic Tape 41’. ‘Thinking About It’ is set for release on the 2nd November with remixes from Bearcubs and more to be announced.

After spending the first part of 2014 locked away in the studio, ‘Thinking About It’ is the first in a series of releases that expertly illustrate Just Kiddin’s honed-to-perfection production techniques - techniques that have come a long way since being introduced by XLR8R back in 2013 via their Intimacy EP on Nurvous Records. Since then, Just Kiddin have gone on to release on labels such as Black Butter and HK Records and their remix of Claptone’s smash ‘No Eyes’ was selected in Mixmag’s ‘Top 10 Exclusive Downloads of 2013’ and garnered a cool four million views on YouTube.

‘Thinking About It’ will be Eton Messy Records follow up release to Clean Bandit member Jack’s impressive side project Ribs. Having being long-term supporters of Just Kiddin, this second release firmly places Just Kiddin within the Eton Messy family and the act will be a prominent feature on all nine dates of the forthcoming UK tour.

LEO ISLO returns to LAMP following his debut song 'Feelings' with a soulful, uptempo release in 'Higher Living'.

The track opens with an array of floating synths, pitch bending chords and echoing piano stabs that create an introspective environment before being cut by a deep, gritty bassline. A dampened kick and house-infused percussion elements accentuate the songs main groove, building and layering elements into a hazy cloud before releasing the production back into dance territory.

Islo’s signatures vocals are airy and soothing, carefully guiding you through each chorus and generating a hypnotic harmony with the core melody. 'Higher Living' measures up to its name with lyrics focused on vice-laden escapism and a careless desire to live inside a dangerous fantasy.

The track opens with a sultry piano solo that is gradually blended together with a series of smokey sax riffs, soft hi-hats and claps. Panning vocals filter into the foreground as a subtle bass line steadily builds into a seductive groove. This sensual house roller reminds us of a blend between early Cafe Del Mar compilations and the jazz sampling proficiency of Nightmares on Wax.

The subtle crackle of a vinyl can be heard as Islo's soothing lyrics echo through the shrouds of a hazy, cavernous abyss. A soft piano chord calmly progresses resting underneath a thin layer of warm, ethereal synths that slowly crescendo into a collective auditory atmosphere. Soft shakers melt together with loose claps and other percussive layers to create an aqueous soundscape. The track looks to leave the listener with a renewed sense of clarity, unity and hopeful outlook on the world that is recurrently divisive.

Tontario's grasp for sewing the threads of talented vocal artists with delicate melodic compositions is acutely demonstrated in this latest collaboration with Leo Islo. The Finnish producer has clearly made his mark as well as a lasting impression on his audience that will resonate for some time to come.

From Claude VonStroke: "I had dinner with Breach in London and he told me "Hey, I have a track that is really dirtybird. I would put it out but its really sounding right for you guys." I took this with a grain of salt but then I heard "Let's Get Hot" and I found out he was right. It's got the swagger and the sound. It makes girls grind their asses into boys crotches on the dancefloor. Perfect. Signed.

So I then asked him to make something even more sexual, thinking it would be ages before I got something back. 10 days later the A-side came back to me as a 2 minute clip while i was on the train to warehouse project in Manchester. I liked it so much that i edited it on the train to stretch it out to 5 minute. As expected, it slayed the room and the final version Breach has delivered is one of the best records of the year in my opinion. With the simple title of "Jack" you can see for yourself when you play it. This is the real deal.
