Beau refers to his distinctive vocal style as Japhillydoohop (Juh-phillee-doo-hop), which references key influences on his sound including jazz, Philly soul, doo-wop, and hip-hop.  Growing up surrounded by Chicago’s rich musical heritage, Beau’s uncanny ability to turn classic stylings into something new and inspiring would come to define him as he rose through the ranks of his local scene.  What truly separates Beau from his peers, however, is the raw passion he brings to every performance. 

 

Whether it is a deep meditation on romance, an unapologetic plea for social justice, or a quiet ode to self love and acceptance, Beau’s sincerity and love for his fellow man shines through on every song.
