Commissioned by the DDG Oboe Trio in 2013.  This is easily one of my favorite pieces to date.  My goal was to highlight the full expressive range of the oboe and English horn within this intricately woven setting, from the bright and sunny first movement, the mournfully sweet second movement, to the driving, dance-like third.  

The Featherlight Ballet

This is Christine's favorite song from her last album, "HARK!", which was recorded by Lansky Sound in late summer 2014. Vocal microphones include Mojave Audio MA-301 & Shure KSM32. The organ was recorded using eight microphones including Royer SF-12, Royer R-122, Mojave Audio MA-101SP, & OktavaMod MK-012 mics. The result is awesome Christmas music! Christine Westhoff is singing & Tim Allen is playing organ at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Little Rock, AR.
