Exactly one year ago the first release came out on our label, but no one of us would have ever imagined how much we could accomplish in those twelve months! We want to thank everyone of our artists and especially each and everyone you, who made this possible. 

This compilation includes tracks of every past and some future signings and takes you one a journey into the whole spectrum of our sound!

Herbrido - Night Ride

Ekko is back with this massive two-tracker. His third solo release on Laps Recordings is Ekko at his best. Satellite is an arp driven cool dancefloor tool. As known , with Ekko comes acid, also in this track. The second track Mayhem is simply epic and more focused on the complex wonderful melody. But after the break he serves a nice candy flip out of DnB influenced bass fills and oldschool rave stabs. Dope!

This round is served by a new face on our label. Tangerine Dreamer from Glasgow delivers well calculated melodic heat. The first track of this two-tracker fits perfect in the club aswell as the festival beach. This bassline keeps you grooving. The b-side is more playful, dreamy and also melancholic. A perfect finish.

We are going international once again: its a huge pleasure for us to welcome the young & talented producer IN-sane from Italy to our LAPS-family! He comes up with a powerful and versatile 3 tracker. The first track "My Way" has a really groovy nature to it and catches the listener with its main vocal. "Dreamcode", the title track, is a driving, highly danceable Melodic-Techno tune and the closing track "Dramacode" adds even more energy and drive to the dancefloor!

Lenn Reich is a DJ and producer born and raised in Ulm, Germany -  a techno hotspot in the 1990s and early 2000s. He quickly found his way into the nightlife, drawn in by heavy basslines and driving energy. As a resident at the renowned Klub Pan, he continues to refine his sound and hone his skills. His sets blend old-school Hardtechno with groovy, hypnotic elements and wild tribal percussion -  all delivered in a nostalgic early-2000s style - and can now be experienced in clubs across Germany.

Lenn Reich is a DJ and producer born and raised in Ulm, Germany a true techno hotspot during the 1990s and early 2000s. Drawn early into the nightlife by heavy basslines and relentless rhythms, he developed a deep passion for the raw power of the dancefloor.

His sets blend old-school hard techno with groovy, hypnotic elements and wild tribal percussion, all delivered with the unmistakable flair of the early 2000s. With a sound that bridges nostalgia and modern drive, Lenn Reich brings an energetic and timeless intensity to clubs across Germany.

Techno is colourful.

We are LAPS Recordings, a young, growing Techno Label from Germany! The name "LAPS" is an acronym containing the initials of our 4 founding members. At the same time it highlights the concept of time, which is a topic all our productions will revolve around! 

Coming from very different musical backgrounds, the core substance of our label sound revolves around dark, energetic and emotional melodies, forceful kickdrums and driving basslines. Those main topics reappear in all of our productions, but so do the individual tastes of all founding members.

I was born in Brantford Ontario Canada July 11th 1963,
I'm a retired City Worker from The Brantford Ontario Works Dept of 34 years of service,
I was 9 years old when I started taking drum lessons with the Ontario Conservatory Of Music,
I taught drum lessons and played in a band that played blues, country, 50's, blue grass,
I started making playlists at the age of 12 years old (1975) Pioneer Turntable, Cassette Deck, Receiver & two 50 watt Speakers.
