New year, new look: LAPS is back with a new design and new faces! LATITUD 33, two brothers from Valparadiso, Chile, kick off 2025 with a powerful 3-tracker. The title track “Broken Grounds” is a dark and driving melodic techno track that stands out for its variety. “Akasha” is more mystical but no less danceable. The final track is “Get Down”, which will get any dancefloor moving with its peak-time kick and acid-heavy synth lines.

Techno is colourful.

We are LAPS Recordings, a young, growing Techno Label from Germany! The name "LAPS" is an acronym containing the initials of our 4 founding members. At the same time it highlights the concept of time, which is a topic all our productions will revolve around! 

Coming from very different musical backgrounds, the core substance of our label sound revolves around dark, energetic and emotional melodies, forceful kickdrums and driving basslines. Those main topics reappear in all of our productions, but so do the individual tastes of all founding members.
