Sjoerd schouten has been active as a DJ and producer for quite some time now.
Since 2015, he has been releasing records together with Cibola (NL) under their ‘Infaam Konijn’ alias. Their productions - released on well-known labels such as ELEVATE, Riot Recordings, Motek, Crash!, Natura Viva and Dense Audio - have been supported by a wide variety of DJs such as Pig&Dan, Maksim Dark, Oxia, FrankyEffe and Dani Sbert.
In addition, Sjoerd played, both solo and with ‘Infaam Konijn’ at events and festivals in the Netherlands and abroad, sharing the stage with names such as PanPot, Reinier Zonneveld, Jay Lumen, Karotte, Boris Brejcha, Bart Skils, Secret Cinema and Egbert (live).
From 2022, he will also regularly release records under his own name and is working on a live set.

Techno is colourful.

We are LAPS Recordings, a young, growing Techno Label from Germany! The name "LAPS" is an acronym containing the initials of our 4 founding members. At the same time it highlights the concept of time, which is a topic all our productions will revolve around! 

Coming from very different musical backgrounds, the core substance of our label sound revolves around dark, energetic and emotional melodies, forceful kickdrums and driving basslines. Those main topics reappear in all of our productions, but so do the individual tastes of all founding members.

I was born in Brantford Ontario Canada July 11th 1963,
I'm a retired City Worker from The Brantford Ontario Works Dept of 34 years of service,
I was 9 years old when I started taking drum lessons with the Ontario Conservatory Of Music,
I taught drum lessons and played in a band that played blues, country, 50's, blue grass,
I started making playlists at the age of 12 years old (1975) Pioneer Turntable, Cassette Deck, Receiver & two 50 watt Speakers.

Since his early steps as a DJ in the legendary parisian Palace club in the middle of the 90’s, PIERRE DE PARIS devoted himself to electronic sounds. He mostly played in Europe for bars, clubs, festivals and major events as the Gay Pride. His style in two words : house & techno ! He masters various genres, from deep house to melodic techno. From the vinyl periode to the MP3 area, he is still making “𝘙𝘌𝘈𝘓 𝘔𝘐𝘟 𝘍𝘖𝘙 𝘙𝘌𝘈𝘓 𝘔𝘐𝘟 𝘓𝘖𝘝𝘌𝘙𝘚”. All this time, he met great creators of dance music. Even if some labels suggested him, he decided not to become a producer, considering that the release of his tracks would not change the history of music. He prefers to concentrate 100% on his DJ sets and podcasts, always promoting the finest electronic music of the artists he admires. This attitude makes him a very respected man. In 2022, he founded ELECTRO RADIO PODCAST, a hi-quality show place for his friends DJ-Producers. After 30 years of carreer, PIERRE DE PARIS is now considered as a reference on the underground electro scene in France.
