Neon Noodles - First Day Orientation

This track was recorded a while ago, when I was still living in Galicia (North-West of Spain). I was then member of the celtic band "Noitebregos", as a lead singer, songwriter and keyboardist.
"Cantigas" is based in the original lyrics of Galaico-Portuguese Medieval troubadour Martin Codax, arranged by me in the old-fashioned language style.

Sigma Theory - Technological Singularity


Norwegian jazz chanteuse Camilla Susann Haug debuts with Sometimes Blue (Noen Ganger Blatt). Although she sings in her native tongue, her subtle shaded vocals recall Swiss-Dutch chanteuse, Susanne Abbuehl, but only at times. Camilla's vocals simmer with passion such as on the track, Wonder (under) where pianist Helge Lien goes to town and bassist Frode Berg and drummer Knut Aalefjaer hold down the fort. Andante recalls an art bar, with its shimmering piano and silky vocals, Berg's throaty bass gives In the Middle of the Night (Midt Pa natta) a Waitsian (Tom Waits) timbre and Rain (Regn) comes off as a jazz lullaby for adults and Ghost (Gjenferd) supplies us with a haunting grooviness. The song also possesses a cabaret appeal. I have already given this disc a few listens and find myself enjoying it more immensely each time. The music here warms up a late cold winter night with the hope of eternal spring waiting in the wings. Certainly Camilla is an artist worthy of our attention and the trio of musicians that embellish Camilla's rich vocal palette deserve some kudos as well. Sometimes Blue sparkles as a debut filled with friskiness and sensuality. You might wonder about that twinkle in Camilla's deep blue eyes, certainly she appears delighted. This album feels to uplifting to ever be mistaken for a blue mood. And perhaps some day this recording will be listed as a Norwegian jazz classic." (Cranky Crow whole music)

This set of sounds from the surface of Mars were recorded by the microphone on the side of NASA’s Perseverance Rover on February 20, 2021. In the first set, sounds from the rover itself dominate. In the second set, the sound was filtered to make sounds from Mars more audible. You can hear a little wind in the second set. 
 
This is the first time a Mars rover has been equipped with a microphone. The images in this video were taken by Perseverance's Navigation Cameras, or Navcams, on the same day as the microphone sounds, Feb. 20, 2021.

Lara Ausensi is a versatile Spanish soundtrack vocalist with a wide range and the ability to sing in various genres and languages; she’s equally skilled in writing music and lyrics and performing even fictional languages created by herself.

Lara’s voice is prominently showcased in the highly acclaimed vocal libraries “Forest Kingdom 3”, “Shevannai, the Voice of Elves” (both by Eduardo Tarilonte) and “Atlantis 3” (by Stefano Maccarelli). Both Shevannai and Forest Kingdom are libraries that have received the seal of approval, being used by Hollywood composers such as James Newton Howard, Neal Acree, and David Arkenstone. After several successful years, Shevannai received the Gear of the Decade award for best VST (virtual library) at the end of 2019.

Her hauntingly ethereal and ethnic-inspired stylings can be heard in all of Iván Torrent’s albums (Reverie, Immortalys, and Onyria). She has also contributed to major themes in the Out There videogame franchise, Sword Master Story, Sym. Bios: Torn Asunder, and The 7th Guest VR. 

Lara partnered closely with Dutch producer Jan van der Plas, as a translator and vocalist, launching the pop Mini-Disco project Peuterplaat, sung in Spanish.

Lara has also lent her talent to independent films such as Broken and Mon Oncle, collaborating with ambient producers like Aaron Marshall, Sid Barnhoorn, and Michael D. Tidwell.

In mid-2023 the cinematic trailer for the ESO Necrom chapter and the avant-garde project “Vocalese” were released alongside composer Jo Blankeburg.

She recently released the cinematics for the video games Honor of Kings ( with Jean-Gabriel Raynaud) and Star Citizen alongside composer Pedro Camacho.
