ACCELERATION is the third movement of THE TIME TRAVELER (4-movement suite for Wind Ensemble). The four movements are an overture, and then one movement each for The Past, The Present and The Future.  ACCELERATION is the movement for The Present - an audio portrait of the fast-paced, ever-changing world that we live in.  It features a whole lot of hyperactive riffs flying around, and has some especially crazed work by the percussion section.  This performance is from a concert by the Cal State Fullerton Wind Symphony under their director Dustin Barr.

Composed, performed, co-produced by Brian Hutchison.  Co-produced and guitar solo by me (Kenny Husted).  This is a re-master from cassette by B.H., originally recorded/mixed in the late 80's on Tascam 80-8 + sequencers, mixed to Ampex 351 half-track tape.
