Growing up in Michigan, I was never fitting in. People called me all kinds of things. Some friendly and some not so much. Often I would ignore people who were confused by my image. They called me "that rappin Kid" and "the kid who raps." Regardless, I always knew I was one of a kind.

Like our city, true independent artists were impacted too. So in time of despair, we do what artists do best. And we went to work. I asked T3 from the mighty group Slum Village to help me give listeners a true "Taste of Detroit". With success knocking on my door, fans often ask "what's next"? And the truth is my only plan is to stay "In My Lane" by staying true to my sound, my bars and the team that helped me achieve my dreams.
As a young man growing up in Michigan, Slum Village played an enormous part of getting me into hip-hop and had a tremendous influence on everything we would eventually do. This song is a testament to the daily grind, the daily hustle and approach it takes to make great authentic Hip-Hop.
