Introduction in English:
Sometimes there are situations in life to which there are no solutions at all. You may have already done and tried everything. Nothing has helped. 
The "doer" and "controller" in me goes to its knees in such moments. And out comes the part that surrenders completely to hope. Then in a kind of prayer to his inner God and in his inner church at least asks for an alleviation of suffering for all those where all rational or scientific techniques and methods have reached their limits.
This song is about such a kind of "hope prayer"

Introduction in German:
Manchmal gibt es Situationen im Leben, zu denen es keinerlei Problemlösungen gibt. Man hat vielleicht alles schon unternommen und versucht. Nichts hat geholfen. 
Der "Macher" und "Kontrolleur" in mir geht in solchen Momenten in die Knie. Und hervorkommt der Teil, der sich ganz der Hoffnung hingibt. Dann in einer Art Gebet an seinen inneren Gott und in seiner inneren Kirche zumindest um eine Linderung des Leids für all jene bittet, bei denen alle rationalen oder wissenschaftlichen Techniken und Methoden an ihre Grenzen gestoßen. 
Von so einer Art "Hoffnungsgebet" handelt dieses Lied

Medien und Politiker teilen aktuell auch Künstler auf – wie den Rest der Gesellschaft: Regierungskritiker sind böse, Regierungsanhänger sind gut. Inzwischen werden entsprechende Listen veröffentlicht und „problematische“ Künstler werden vom Bundespräsidenten wieder ausgeladen. Earlier this year a new project emerged from Amsterdam made up of a pair of familiar producers operating beneath a new guise. Darcey Electronics is made up of Darling and Tracey, two stellar musicians in their own right who have each released music in various capacities over many years. Collectively they have released music on the likes of Aus, Safe Trip, Dial, Intergraded, Off Minor and Voyage Direct.

They both live and breathe music and operate amidst a collective of inspiring Amsterdam producers who have established their own take on dance and electronic music - channeling influences from house, techno, ambient and IDM. It is the latter two genres which perhaps best informed the pairs first release under the collaborative moniker. Released on Pleasant Life earlier in 2020 the EP was well received and widely supported, showcasing abstract experimentation and playful melodic flurries which based upon the set below seems to be a hallmark of their taste and style.
