Lars creates music that relies on experimentation. His specific kind of experiments create music that can range from soothing ambience to crushing noise and everything between. Using a variety of techniques that include sampling, synthesis, and occasionally just vocalizing strange noises into a microphone; Lars creates bizarre soundscapes that provoke a myriad of often uncomfortable feelings.

Dear Listener,
I use the name "Deft Soul", as it emphasizes my approach to producing music, and exploring new sounds. I believe that music has the power to stir the soul like nothing else can. Also, with the simplest sounds and harmonies one can convey elaborate and touching stories. In my opinion music doesn't need to be loud and abrasive, as even a skilfully created simple tune can move one emotionally. As an artist, I believe it's my responsibility to be creative and not follow, a set path!!

I am a huge follower of Daft Punk. I am also influenced by artists like- Justin Timberlake , Timbaland, Justice, Breakbot, Cassius.

The genres that I usually do produce in are Disco, House, Synthpop and Retro.
