Orch249 - Passing the Ground

Anthony M Virgilio Music is an experience in story telling through the musical language. Always in different voices, always varying tales, but always written to convey a story. Message me on here or on my site to inquire about commissioned work. I enjoy working with artists and other composers. I would also love your feedback on the work I post on here. Most of the recordings on here are midi renderings and could use live recordings in order to truly bring them to life. If there is a piece you fancy to perform send me a message and maybe we could work something out.

I started composing daily pieces and posting them onto SoundCloud at the beginning of 2013.  By posting daily I am tweaking, experimenting and developing a thought, idea or event in time.  I am endeavouring to show that there is no limit to that creative spark that lies within each of us.  So much of what we do nowadays is about instant return, I am about evolution not revolution (although each month starts with a clean slate).  Join me on my journey to 10,000 (18 May 2040!!!)

Over the years I have found the Soundcloud community to be extremely supportive and encouraging.  It’s great to have a Global Mastermind of musical adventurers.

Verhaltenem mit Mir, geb ich Eurer Ahnung diese Euch Mitteilung: 
Wenn Ihr Meinen Gebrauch von dem Sinnbild: 
Spiegel meint "zum Gebrauch Eures das Auslassen" von, 
"Überhöhter 
Eitelkeit im Schein" des Sein, mit dem Vergleich zu dem. 
Missstand der Welt an dem Messen,... des Meinigen aus der Unerkannten, 
sein kann,... Sich erhaben der Vorenthaltung das Ware. 
Um nun meist zur Bevorteiligung recht 
Gut im gerechtigkeitsfragen das, was Frage ist, 
die Mitteilung eine: 
Antwort:... zum Umdrehen 
beinhalten in der hallte, mir bisher diese. 
Gebrauch zu Bescheidenheit ein, und aus 
der Tage, im Sinnen, im Laufen aus Lust, 
innig Leben rufend die Leidenschaft und das Fragen.
Aber was mach ich mir Gedanken über die Lüge?! 
Das das damit Ich bin der somit nicht nur weiß nun,
zur Person wird, ist dem klar.

You will find a whole range of styles here. More or less serious covers of famous songs and a whole lot of own stuff. I think it's a musical journey if you decide to explore my cloud. All instruments , sometimes even the drums :-)  are played by me. Most of the time there'll be no amendement made so that the instruments are basically live. One track is recorded after the other, mostly within a few hours.I like working instictively and free of barriers of any kind. I do it cause I like it. Nonetheless I am always happy to read your comments, get inspiration and be critisised. The fact that I "make" music is so very unquestioned by myself . I have never had any lessons and I have my own approach to music, tones, rythm and sound, wich of course is still not necessarily of extraterrestrial nature (except in some cases). I am also often really amazed about the creativity, skills and ideas of many of the soundclouders here. One last thing: if you want to use some of my stuff here, just ask.  Peace

I've always been a fan of music, most genres attract me, but being a filmmaker I am always looking for a different sound that will inspire me to write the next great epic motion picture.
