Wishing you all a Wonderful, Magical and Merry Christmas and a New Year. I hope that this time is a festive and loving one :-)     At times like these, however, it can be good to remember those who are alone on such a magical day as Christmas and New Years; to try and understand what it may be like;….  and for those who are feeling alone, to remember - that you don't have to feel alone.

I have memories of wonderful Christmases as a child, with real Xmas pine trees. There was a beautiful smell of fresh pine leaves, and the rooms were brightened with gorgeous decorations, pink marzipan sugar mice spread around the house, and the air filled with the magical anticipation of Xmas Eve, waiting to jump up onto one's parent's bed, …. its XMAS TIME!! :-)
Its different now, and I see the decorations, in other places, the beautiful and bright colours, sounds and smells, all that it represents, I hear of people's Xmas plans and family and friends, I hear of stress, I hear of joy and anticipation, especially families with children - such wonders.
Yet often we can forget that there are many people that do not have this joy, where the Xmas spirit seems to be for 'others'. So many lonely and/or unwell people, wishing to be a part of things, but unable to, for various reasons. Xmas can also bring back painful memories one just doesn't want to remember, and while the 'anticipation' of Xmas is still there, the actual day can be very lonely and sad.
Thus, this song [and now series] was created - 'Lonely Seasons' - in dedication to, and to remember and think of those who are alone on Xmas and New Year. Yes, it is sad. at a time when there should be joy, but it is not mean't to be  ………..
… for there is always hope that things will change and the magic of Christmas will return, and it will always stay in our memories. There are so many out there who are alone on these festive days, but try to remember, in simply knowing this, that you are not alone and you can try to make these days the best that you can. Enjoy the small things, buy some 'xmasy' food, some cold ham, turkey and cranberry sauce, maybe even some cherries! Dress for the day or just lounge around in your PJ's  :-) Play some music; walk the cat! Play in the dirt and garden and feel the spirit in the air
Make these days YOUR days and be your own best friend :-)

Hope you like what you hear?

I like trying to meld more traditional instruments with aspects of modern synthesis. I don't have a genre; it's a case of whatever takes my fancy at the time or where the music takes me. I just like trying different things out.

Ableton Live along with Line 6's UX2. Korg's Kaosillator Pro & Microkorg, along with an Alesis Q49 keyboard via MIDI are my mainstay for the electronic side. My trusty Ibanez Gio & Epiphone SG bass via pod farm are the working tools for the traditional side of things. Occasionally my beloved telecaster puts in an appearance as well with amplification by Marshall & Boss when Pod farm doesn't fit the bill.

Recent collaborations with Sara Brito, Artari, Inflexion, Bound untill death, Nevergone Music & MsAlice Thompson. I'm always interested in collaborating with other producers/ musicians/ vocalist's, ect. It's about the journey, how you got there & who you travelled with!
