Thieves in the Palace is an alternative rock project that originated from influences such as west coast bay area rock, folk, progressive rock and jazz. The members have been writing and recording the songs to be included on this album for the past six years. We appreciate the visit and we hope our music reaches you. I am new to the world of strings. After receiving a bright orange colored ukulele as a surprise gift (best present ever), I discovered that I liked to strum and sing. Since then I bought "my first real 6-string" and now I am trying to get better at playing it. 

This account is intended to exchange views with other string learners. So please feel free to give me feedback. And remember, that I am just starting out - I am still struggling with all those strings - but it's a lot of fun.

Music is one of the last forms of magic left on the planet in my opinion. I just want to spread that magic as far as I can for as long as I can.

I am Simon Robinson and I am also Not Your Dad, which I think works on one level at the very least. Hear me roar. I hail from the English hamlet of Historic Chatham Upon Medway, Kent.
