Laurent began his musical journey in the 1990s under the name Lost Memories, releasing his debut album "The Edge of Eternity" in 1999 on an independent Belgian label. This album established his signature style, merging electro and pop influences with a strong emphasis on atmosphere. During this time, he also worked on several remixes for other artists, refining his sound and production techniques.

Over the years, Laurent’s music has evolved into a deeply evocative form of electronic expression. Each of his compositions unfolds like a self-contained world, where storytelling and emotion take center stage. A defining characteristic of his work is his mastery of vocal synthesis, crafting entirely digital voices that add an ethereal and otherworldly dimension to his music.

He has remixed "Tricky Tricky" and "Oh, Lover" by Röyksopp, "Mercy" by Alice Offley, "Nude" by Radiohead, "Amazonia" by Deep Forest, and "My Emily" by Anneli Drecker (Bel Canto, Röyksopp), among others.
