I cant describe what a pleasure it has been to know Bas Amro, he has an amazing approach to music. This is a slow deep house burner of which we try to make people more aware of each other, a conscious approach to life,in light of recent events taking place in this country I feel this track is appropriate. Five years after hailing all eyes on the horizon with an exquisite Black Sunrise,
Francesco Chiocci and Black Soda reconvene, innervated by the earth’s brightest star,
to cast another invigorating summertime bacchanal. Paying homage to the vast source
of life, the Italian producer and South African vocalist grace MoBlack Records with a
6:23 minute voyage, “Towards the Sun.” Robust bass and striking percussion scorch
and rouse A-side, emitting solar radiance from its densely textured build up, disrupted
by synth and brass breaking circuits to illuminate a perfect rhythmic dance scenario.
Melodic notes lend a tender touch just before the 2 minute mark, paving way to Black
Soda’s enigmatic vocals which drift complex layers of prismatic Afro and house
elements, through finish. Stripped out of vocals, B-side stands on its own, diverting
fortitude and impetus “Towards the Dub.” Back to the basics with a minute of simple
beat pattern at start, Francesco Chiocci’s instrumental rendition grips right from the
onset, leaning on sublime electronic sound modulations with a distinct organic feel. Rife
with fleshy riddim-ridden patterns and ingenious tempering of echo and reverb,
MBR397th’s finale is profuse with lush soundscapes sculpted by the depth and space of
sound, showcasing the body-bounding power of Dub.

The figure five is known to be a biblical symbol of Divine grace, mercy and unconditional love,
and for MoBlack Records 411th catalog, five are the number of interpretations rendered for Tick
Tock & Milkoeh’s homage to Providence, sewn and uplifted by B’utiza’s vocals. Comprising of
unique remixes from some of Africa’s most promising talents, MBR411 is an amalgamation of
organic tribal sounds, Afro soulfulness and innovative electronic maneuvers, inspired by faith
and emboldened by a stirring heart-to-soul dialogue with the Kakaramba, at the hand of South
African vocalist, B’utiza’s transcendent chorale.
Pretoria’s Dee Cee leads the 5-pack, cutting pulsating synth against the grain of a driving
bassline in pursuit of imminent conviction. Rustenberg’s Arol $ Kinzie swerves trajectory
cascading electronica and wading into layers of deep atmospherics and wind-propelled
meditation, but ever remains grounded in B’utiza’s hominal croon. Nuanced basslines brushed
with melodic noir and bristly percussion that resound the awakening of his African roots sets
Silvva’s remix in motion - a 7:15 minute adrenaline rush. Letting vigorous vocals run its ardent
course, Kiing Praiise & Gubu Noir evoke the deluge of emotions in B’utiza’s litany, festooned by
disruptive syncopation, airy pads and brittle groove. Wrapping up the quintuplet, Casaba Tribe
deploys gunning locomotive sonance into searing hi-hat procession, breaching sonic overload
that ruptures into celestial territory.

Madorasindahouse Premieres: Dorian Craft, Re.You and Jenia Tarsol, three of the finest producers out there, are making their debut on the Greek record label, with “Stuck In My Head”.

Dorian Craft sent us this gem a few months ago, and when we first encountered the distinct piano chords, blending with the unique voice of Coco, we immediately knew we had an unforgettable song in our hands! Waiting for the right time to release the two Parisians' production we teased it through Mixmag's tribute live stream for Nelson Mandela day by Shimza at Robben Island, premiered it at Worldwide.FM, and we are finally ready to present it in full.

On the remixes side, Re.You transforms the track into a deep and groovy escapade, tweaking the vocals and reading it for the peak time moments of a Dj set. Between a hectic release schedule that includes labels such as Moon Harbour, Mobilee, and Kompakt, collaborations with Rodriguez Jr, Stereo MC’s or Rampa, we are happy to have him on board for the first time in our label.

Jenia Tarsol on the other hand, inspired by the beaches of the Caribbean, provides a melodic anthem with breakbeat elements, a perfect soundtrack to the closing of a party by the ocean beach. The Blue Shadow co-owner has developed a unique production style inspired by his appearances in the Mayan Warrior, Circoloco, and DGTL festival, that has given him the chance to release in labels such as Crosstown Rebels and Correspondant, becoming a mainstay in the headlines of clubs and festivals around the world.
