HI, I used a single Saw waveform playing a C note. I made it evolve using the Mod-wheel mapped to filter frequency cutoff and the knobs and faders of my midi controller mapped to tweak filters and LFO in real time.
Recorded two parallel tracks, one tweaking a square waveform LFO1 mapped to "volume" , the second track tweaking a pulse LFO2 mapped to Filter-Cutoff.

The deadline for this challenge will coincide with the anniversary of Sumitaku Kenshin’s death, so I thought it’d be appropriate to commemorate this remarkable poet with music from Naviar’s community.

Sumitaku Kenshin was a haiku poet who practiced free-form haiku. He started writing poety after being diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia, and dedicated the last 2 years of his life to haiku, leaving 281 poems, mostly published by the free-form haiku magazine Kaishi.

“St. Anthony” is the second and last track from my new album "Saints", released by Oxtail Recordings. The full piece runs nearly 28 minutes, this is a shorter excerpt.

"Saints" marks my return to releasing music after a four-year hiatus. During that time, I relocated from Australia to Alaior, a small town in Menorca (Balearic Islands), and was gradually drawn into a new landscape of sounds, textures, and emotional states.

The album is built around two field recordings of traditional tunes from Alaior’s local saint festivities: St. Lawrence and St. Anthony. These fragments became the anchors for two longform ambient compositions, woven with drones, synths, and additional field recordings; an attempt to drift through memory and place, much like I’ve done in recent years.

St. Anthony is celebrated on January 17th, right in the middle of Menorca’s winter. I hope this excerpt resonates with you, and if it does, please let me know somehow.
