Onit began his DJing career spinning Florida breaks in the Washington, DC. rave scene in 1995. He quickly acquired his first residency at Lowtech, a Tuesday night dance party held at the Caffe house on 12th and U Street. For years Lowtech was considered the most successful Tuesday night club in the DC area and even gained a mentioned in URB magazine. The party ran for four years, while moving to several larger venues in and around the Washington area.
From 1996 to 2000, Onit held residency positions in Virginia, Baltimore, and DC, in such venues as the Edge Nightclub and the legendary Trax Nightclub in South East DC. In 2000, he left the DC area to pursue a more formal education. He attended the University of New Haven in CT for four years and graduated with two degrees in music. Following graduation, he began mixing music and live studio audio for various shows on the sports cable network ESPN.
In 2007, Onit teamed up with DJ ELETE (another Lowtech resident) to put together a series of mixes for a podcast, which they decided to name Lowtech in honor of their former club. The two DJs used this outlet to post old mix tapes, as well as put out new mixes using their vast collections of vinyl. It was a way for them to memorialize some of their favorite dance tracks ever. The series is comprised of over 24 hours of mixes, in genres varying from Disco House to Drum and Bass.
Onit is always looking to cultivate new skills, and last year decided to focus on scratching and battling - he enrolled in the Scratch DJ Academy in NYC and is well on his way to becoming certified in the program. He is still living in CT and has recently started making live appearances throughout the state and into other areas of New England. He is always excited to meet new producers, DJs, promoters, and fans on his never-ending path to grow as an artist and fan of all types of dance music.

Frances Eugenia’s (AKA Puerto Rican Knife Gang) love of next level dance music and dirty dance
floors began on the filthy streets of New Orleans, taking her straight
to the seedy nightclubs of New York. Since becoming a downtown staple
in 2002, Frances Eugenia has been commanding NYC dance floors as both
DJ and Host.

Since her beginnings as the Resident DJ for the Infamous NYC Latex
designer Baroness’ Fetish Retinue and Royal Amusements, Frances
Eugenia has gone forth to command such venues as Byte NYC, Onyx,
Flashy Trashy Happy Ending, Piano’s, The Coral Room, Capitale, Rebel
NYC, Alphabet Lounge, Arlo & Esme, Odea, Uncle Ming’s, The Delancey,
Supreme Trading, Le Poisson Rouge, and Beauty Bar NYC & Brooklyn.

Along with her numerous solo projects, Frances Eugenia has also
co-founded False Aristocracy, an event production and marketing
company. False Aristocracy has earned a name for itself on
Manhattan’s Lower East Side through weekly events such as Ether,
Curious and the Coin Series.

A standard for pushing the limits of social norms, Frances Eugenia
reflects the newest sounds in New York dance music culture. A no
boundaries approach enables her to play anything from House, Pop,
Dancehall, Grime, Dubstep, Tropical Bass, to Gothic//Industrial and
Darkwave.

Always elegant and forever decadent, Frances Eugenia continues to draw
local celebrities and club photographers to venues and dance floors
alike.

Snap Judgment is a weekly storytelling radio show and podcast, hosted by Glynn Washington. Snap mixes real stories with killer beats to produce cinematic, dramatic, kick-ass radio. Snap’s raw, musical brand of storytelling dares listeners to see the world through the eyes of another. This is storytelling… with a BEAT!!  Snap first aired on NPR stations nationwide in July 2010. Snap Judgment is now aired on over 400 public radio stations.

AJ is a composer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist from Washington D.C. He has themes and scores on TV shows, cues in commercials, and tracks and songs released by major labels and dance labels. He has charted on Billboard K-Pop Top 5, Hot 100 Top 10, and Beatport. His work also has been licensed by spa chains, hotels, and commissioned by ballet companies.
