Short Overview of what to expect from Boa Chitta.
Boa Chitta is a music artist from Derry in Northern Ireland. Growing up in the 80s, Boa acquired an eclectic taste in music, loving top of the pops as a kid, and the radio being a constant background friend. Boas' house was always filled with music as her mum without fail brought home a huge handful of LP singles every single week remembering singers such as Stevie Wonder, David Bowie, Kate Bush, Prince, Tina Turner, Pat Benatar, Sinead O Connor, Bonnie Tyler and bands such as Queen, Duran Duran, The Bangles, The Police, Eurythmics, Talking Heads, Depeche Mode and Blondie just to name a few.
 As a young child no more than 5 years old , Boa decided to learn the guitar and was always trying to rope her friends into starting bands in order to perform live on her favourite show Top of The Pops. This would only ever be a pipe dream as post-war Derry in the 80s had very few opportunities for anyone at that particular time, never mind a young child wishing to be a super star.
As a teen, Boa jumped on board the 1995 wave of amazing female artists that took the world by storm. Inspired by females such as Alanis Morissette, Gwen Stefani, Kathlene Hanna, Skin from Skunk Anansie, Tori Amous, and of bands such as Pixies and The Cranberries. 

All these influences remain strong and interwoven throughout BOACHITTAs music, that's for sure, but always certainly with absolute originality too.
