Surviving the surge and pelt of daily life in Los Angeles . . . .

All of my work is produced using Propellerhead’s Reason 8 with various rack extensions. I use live guitar in most of my tracks and record through the Line 6 Guitar Amp with the Balance audio interface in Reason.

All of the work that I cover and all original works are created and I play every note –  I do not sample any pieces of other artist’s work or use loops or pre-sets. Also – all of my cover work is for promotional use only and I do not own any rights to these pieces.

I am blessed with the support of many incredibly talented musicians, producers, artists and DJs here on Soundcloud, and I will list as many as I can below. Lazyboyproactive is a Live Dark Electronic DUO from Melbourne Australia based around multi instrumentalist producer/songwriter Ank Juwaheer, "AKA" Ank Kit and drummer Ben Helmig.

With 2 albums and 7 singles released to this day. 
They have become a favourite of the underground alternative electronic music scene, on both a national and international level. 

In 2006, Lazyboyproactive was created by Ank Kit as a solo project. In that same year and for the next 2 years, he played a few gigs locally until 2009 when he locked himself in a beach house on a remote island for ten Months in order to shape the project.  
In 2010, he moved back to the city. From then he finished the album “Kaos Dream” in his home studio in Melbourne. The album was released on the 13th Of August 2011 through Tempest Recordings. 

The second album 'In Space, In Time And In Life' was released on the 15th of April 2017 through Slice records. 

Shortly after the release of 'In Space, In Time And In Life' Ben Helmig joined Lazyboyproactive as a drummer.

The sound of Lazyboyproactive combines a good mixture of progressive, electro, synth pop and rock sensibilities with live vocals, guitars, analogue synthesizers and drums done in a lazy manner but proactively.

To me, making music is a great way to leave behind all the daily stress and to come down after work. I'm not a professional, it's just a hobby, a passion.
I never had a teacher or studied music. All i know about i got by trial and error. I just love to test and create some sounds and playing around and tweaking them, ´till something useful comes out.
I love the endless possibilities to be creative in doing music. I mainly use FL-Studio and some VST plugins for music creation. The goal i've set for myself is to not to produce two tracks sounding the same. It's a hard task but i think it's not impossible. There are always so many ideas spinning around in my head...

What i  compose is often away from mainstream, mostly cosmic and space- or Science fiction-themed.

For me, everything started on my Commodore Amiga 500 where i used ProTracker and similar programs to create music. Later i bought a special hardware modul named Techno Sound Turbo for the Amiga,  which made it possible to digitalize sound from radio or CD or my cassette player. It also generated different effects in realtime while recording, like robotic voice when using a mic, flanger, phaser, echo, etc... *sigh*...These were cool times...long ago...

No sympathy for the devil; keep that in mind. Buy the ticket, take the ride...and if it occasionally gets a little heavier than what you had in mind, well...maybe chalk it up to forced consciousness expansion: Tune in, freak out, get beaten.

I get inspiration to compose music through my dreams. It starts with a simple melody I hear in the dream, then after awake, I focus on the emotion I have towards the melody and create a story based on it, then develop it into a complete musical track.
