Emily Peasgood (born 1981 in Grimsby, Lincolnshire) is an Ivor Novello Composer’s Award winning composer, sound artist and visual artist. She creates research-led and site specific interactive artworks for galleries and outdoor public spaces, ranging from large-scale community events to intimate sound installations. Her work aims to transform how we perceive our environment by creating invitations to connect with people and places that are forgotten, overlooked, or surrounded by histories that can be remembered and celebrated through sound and music. Peasgood is best known for her work in outdoor public locations with specific communities of people, often utilising innovative technology and design to serve her concept and enhance visitor interaction. Her work has been described as magical  (The Times), evocative (The Telegraph), and memorable (A-N). Peasgood’s practice is underpinned by an aesthetic belief in creating artworks that enrich people’s lives through embodying the values of accessible, inclusion and engagement. She recently completed her PhD ‘Creating accessible, inclusive and engaging artwork through experimental processes in the community’ (Canterbury Christ Church University) and holds a PGCAP Post Graduate Certificate in Academic Practice (research and lecturing).

Joe Galuszka is a British composer, conductor, and performer who began his musical journey as a self-taught pianist from a young age before joining a brass band at 14. As a tuba player, timpanist, and percussionist, he has performed with some of the UK’s finest brass bands including Tredegar, Flowers, Aldbourne, Filton Concert Brass, and Rothwell Temperance, and was timpanist with the Bristol Symphony Orchestra for a number of years. He has performed at some of the leading concert halls in England, including the Royal Albert Hall, Canterbury Cathedral, Symphony Hall Birmingham, and Leeds Town Hall. He conducts seven ensembles, including the Bristol Military Wives Choir, Bristol Hippodrome Community Choir, and Westbury Park Orchestra, and has worked as an arranger and tutor for the National Children’s Orchestra of Great Britain. He recently became Musical Director for the Gloucestershire Music Service and Youth Orchestras, and is training with the Association of Brass Band Adjudicators.

His compositions span brass, wind, chamber, and media music, scoring over 15 films and documentaries. He won Bronze at the Global Music Awards and Gold at the London Independent Film Awards for his debut wildlife documentary soundtrack, Firekeepers of Kakadu, which was broadcast on SBS Australia. His works have been shortlisted for the European Brass Band Composition Championship (2020) and the A4 Brass Quartet Competition (2022), with his tuba quartet Pandemic being awarded 1st place in the When Tuba Come One International Composition Competition. In Nov 2025 his first commission for orchestra, A Symphony of Centuries, will receive its world premiere by the Longwell Green Orchestra , with his debut album 'Fractures', recorded by the Bristol Ensemble being released in Dec 2025.
