VÏVÏ is a DJ, producer and queer activist from Seisho, Kanagawa, Japan. A resident of Tokyo’s Queert0pia party, VÏVÏ moves between melodic hard trance, hard dance, and hard techno rock edits. The music is loud, restless, and meant for people who don’t fit the mold.

A versatile and dynamic DJ, with his heavy basslines and infectious energy. Starting his journey in 2020, Kay-9 quickly immersed himself in the underground music scene, drawing influence from his background in the skate culture. It was through the skate scene that he first encountered the pulse of underground music, and soon found himself captivated by the raw, high-energy rhythms that would come to define his DJ style.

Kay-9 is a proud member of the DJ collective LYC (Love Your Connections), a group dedicated to creating powerful, connective experiences through music. His sets often span a wide range of styles, but he’s particularly drawn to Tek and Trance, two genres that allow him to showcase his love for rapid beats and deep, driving bass. His music is known for its fast tempos and relentless energy, and he has an undeniable ability to keep the dancefloor moving. However, his sets are never limited to just one style — DJ Kay-9 incorporates a diverse variety of electronic subgenres, ensuring that each performance is unique and engaging.
