Liso - Pursuit [VEHEMENCE]

So I was doing some experimenting and a lot of watching various tutorials about mixing various instruments and songs, which made me realize that my previous 2 mixes were pretty bad to be honest.

So I went back to the drawing board essentially. I used some different toms, kick, and snare, as well as different mics on the guitars. I definitely wanted to capture that raw feeling you hear on albums like Powerage, so I went ahead and just used the same gear. Marshall 2203, Greenbacks, and U47 FET.

Mastering was also another step that I had problems with. No matter what I did, it always seemed to distort the final mix in some way for some unknown reason (which I found out is because my PC doesn't quite have enough processing power to handle all the plugins at once) but there are workarounds, so I just mixed each instrument group seperately than combined them into one. BOOM! just like that, no more distortions. Apply the same mastering technique and wha-la here we go.
