Some points discussed during this Khutbah:

The best of mankind.
Allāh has blessed the believers with the sending of the Messenger ﷺ .
The “Ḥikmah” is the Sunnah. 
Obedience to the Messenger ﷺ is obedience to Allāh. 
The commands and prohibitions of the Prophet ﷺ. 
The Prophets and Messengers were sent to be obeyed. 
Salvation is in following the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ.  
Means to earning the Mercy of Allāh. 
What is true success and how is it attained? 
Ibnul Qayyim رحمه الله regarding, “the greatest success”. 
Loving the people of Sunnah. 
The story of Thawbān رضي الله عنه and his love for the Prophet ﷺ. 
The fruits of following the Sunnah and the promise of Allāh.

[07/06/2024] Dhul-Ḥijjah: A Great and Tremendous Month - By Abu Khadeejah ‘Abdul Wāḥid حفظه الله. Khuṭbah at Masjid As-Sunnah An-Nabawiyyah, Aston, Birmingham, UK.

Some points discussed during this Khuṭbah:

- Capitalising on the seasons of goodness throughout the year. 
- Actions carried out by the pilgrims on the days of Hajj. 
- Proof from the Qur’ān and Sunnah for the great virtue of the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah. 
- An example of how the Salaf were in these ten days. 
- The legislation of men raising their voices with the dhikr of Allāh, and the manner in which women are to carry this out. 
- The takbirāt that should be said throughout the ten days. 
- The prohibition of saying the takbirāt in unison. 
- Fasting in these days. 
- The tremendous virtues of the Day of ‘Arafah. 
- Allāh’s boasting to His angels on the Day of ‘Arafah. 
- That which is legislated on the Day of ‘Arafah for those who are not performing Hajj. 
- The best supplication to be said on the Day of ‘Arafah. 
- The greatest day of the year. 
- The emphasised Sunnah of sacrificing for men and women, and some rulings regarding it. 
- Strong speech from Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymīn (رحمه الله) regarding sending money overseas to make the ‘Eid sacrifice.
