THE ANGELS IN MY ATTIC offers a huge palette of sounds for a debut album. It dances between massive cold wave hymns (''Drowning'') and rather eerie rock tracks reminiscent of illustrous bands such as Mogwai and UNKLE (''Love Is Just Competition'', ''Wednesday Morning Rain''). While the title track starts off kind of gloomy before it suddenly turns into a gigantic wall of sound, the intimate ''Dementia (Down In The Old Grey Park)'' forms the album's dramaturgical climax.

''One of the big challenges for me on this album was that the songs were all quite diverging sonically, even though they came from the same state of mind'', says Leaving With Ghosts' singer and songwriter Danny Elevator. ''I found that exciting so I have worked for years on this to get the sound right, where I felt it needed to be.''

Peach Luffe started from a decision Jong had to make: keep pursuing his passion for song-writing in the West or go back to Korea after college. Music has always been his love. So, he went to Canada.Later, he met up with future bandmates Sean Yerzy, Jonathan Friedman, and Michael Friedman. After performing together for over a year, it was time to make it official by teaming up under the new artist name — Peach Luffe.

The music project "Present Paradox" by Dortmund-based David Kleinekottmann provides insights into the often opaque nature of the present. The result is a fusion of melancholic and danceable elements, expansive and intimate at the same time, diverse and yet familiar. Since 2013, Kleinekottmann has been regularly releasing LPs/EPs that move between indie, experimental rock and electronica.
