I am one track away from completing a piano album of mostly improvisations presented in my very own and wholly uneducated piano and composition style.

Today is international Piano Day apparently so I am posting one of the pieces, which is unmixed.

The album will be released this year and I am doing it because I find a lot of modern piano stuff I hear on Classic FM etc to be very measured and excessively structured. My style is unhinged and quite uncontrolled due to impatience and lack of skill, and the material due for album release explores some uncertain emotional and compositional territory.

I planned on doing stuff like this much later in life, but the solo piano seems to have been encouraged early and unconsciously by people like Jonathan, Mad, Melanie, Sime and other good friends whose words carry more weight than they realise. Thank you!
