In Vitro has been involved in music for two decades, above all as a music lover, this enthusiasm has led him to compose, play, mix, broadcast, diffuse and write about music of a wide range of styles. Between 2008 and 2018, he also acted as the founder, curator and A&R for @breathe Compilations. His recent music has been published by Soundsphere, @deep_electronic , Polysphere, among others. Along the way the DeepWarmth alias sprung up for his stuff with Beats including more experimental stuff concering Drone infused beatwork. Now making music as DeepWarmth and James Shain for all Ambient, he strives to showcase his love for Ambient. Aside from being an artist, he runs the Electronic Music label Cold Fiction Music and the Ambient label Moody Drones with fellow artist Sage Taylor.

@segueambient is the name used by Jordan Sauer, an electronic music producer from Vancouver, BC. He creates ambient and dub-techno music with layers of field recordings, acoustic and electronic sounds, creating sonic soundscapes that conjure images of nature and emotions of peace and introspection. He has released numerous solo albums and collaborations with artists from around the world, including three LPs on the Silent Season record label. A high point of his career was the 2013 release of the dub-techno album Pacifica and the following performance at Mutek the following year, captured here in this live recording. In 2020, Jordan was commissioned by Canada’s Michael Smith Genome Sciences Centre to produce Gene Machines - an album based on field recordings and atmospheric sounds from one of the most advanced genetic research labs in Canada.

Presented as part of STREAM ON, a project by MUTEK, with the support of the Canada Council for the Arts.
