You have to be profoundly naive to think this is just about a public health crisis. He sees people taking grassroots concerted action and hopes that the Great Reset begins to unravel, though admits the risk is clearly there that we could end up in a very bad place as in history past.

About Dr. Piers Robinson
Dr Piers Robinson is Co-Director of the Organisation for Propaganda Studies, convenor of the Working Group on Syria, Propaganda and Media and Chief Editor of Speciality Section ‘Political Communication’ in Frontiers in Communication

Professor/Chair in Politics, Society and Political Journalism, University of Sheffield, 2016-2019.

Visiting Professor, University of Chester, 2013-2016.

Senior Lecturer in International Politics, University of Manchester, 2005-2015.

Lecturer in Political Communication, University of Liverpool, 1999-2005.

He researches communication, media and world politics, focusing on conflict and war. His work has been cited in publications such as ‘The Responsibility to Protect’, published by the ICISS, and he has received many invitations to lecture and advise on these topics. He has lectured at the NATO Defense College in Rome, given presentations/briefings at the University of Oxford to UK senior military commanders and diplomats and at St Cyer military academy in France. He has given public talks for Stop the War Coalition, Frome Stop the War and Media on Trial.

His current research focuses on organised persuasive communication (OPC) and contemporary propaganda. This research has been developed into a broader research agenda aimed at theorising and researching propaganda and he is currently working on a number of projects including research funding bids examining propaganda during the current Syrian conflict,  propaganda during the 9/11 ‘war on terror’, as well as conceptual papers and monographs on OPC and propaganda.

Piers is also active in cultivating a number of related activities aimed at engaging both the academic community and the public with the issue of deceptive and coercive OPC and contemporary propaganda. These include the recently established Organisation for Propaganda Studies, the Working Group on Syria, Propaganda and Media  and the Working Group on Propaganda and the 9/11 Global ‘War on Terror’.

Media Blackout all-star ‘Medsound' returns with his latest smash ‘Moving Right' featuring the deliciously voice of Dana Jean Phoenix who makes her debut on the label. The Barcelona based enigmatic Medsound has been a regular in many top artist playlists, constantly showcasing his huge originality and versatility without ever disappointing. 

Russian master of the cool beat ‘Alex Hook' is another making his debut on Media Blackout with his incredible rendition of ‘Moving Right'. Alex's affair with sound "through heart, hands and computer tools" has led to a raft of successful releases and remixes, and this is no exception. With recently occupying the number 1 spot on Beatport he truly lets his talent shine thru with his rendition of 'Moving Right'. The second remix comes from none other than British sound maestro Ben Macklin, who besides is well known persona is a true master of the craft. He drops a stunning remix of ‘Moving Right'; a modern beach house jam with all the right elements. The bouncy bass and great synth arrangements create a sexy, provocative atmosphere while Dana's voice make words settle in truly magical fashion, creating a warm felt atmosphere that creates special memories every time you listen to it.

French sound genius Juloboy, famed for his body moving beats and immense production skills, delivers a remix that dives into more calm territory with lots of euphoric vibes and a beautiful Spanish guitar that builds the main focal point of his stunning rework. The luscious use of the vocals, bass stabs and driving drums make for an irresistible rhythm while the clever chords round off these fantastic interpretations.

Carol Jiani is making her debut on Milk & Sugar Recordings with a full remix release of her signature song Hit'n Run Lover, now reworked from Italy's CASSIMM, French producers Tommy Glasses and Samy K and UK's Rob Hayes.

In 1980, Carol Jiani recorded two Sandy Wilbur-written pieces with La Greca, "Hit 'N Run Lover" and "All The People of the World". "Hit 'N Run Lover" was remixed by San Francisco-based Moby Dick Records for their Gold Standard imprint and would become Jiani's signature song, peaking at number 4 on the US Billboard Club Play Singles chart in 1981. On the heels of "Hit N' Run Lover"'s success, Matra Records commissioned a complete album, also titled Hit 'N Run Lover. 

Now Milk & Sugar Recordings have taken over the master rights, bringing a full remix release of her hit single. Italy's CASSIMM, French producers Tommy Glasses and Samy K and UK's Rob Hayes provide four absolutely unique versions to cover the needs of today's market.
