January 1977 as Punk played from the airwaves Andrew was fortunate to be fostered by his maternal Gran who brought him and his brother Tommy up, along with his departed mother''s brother's and sister's.

A family who all loved different styles of music,this clearly had a major influence on the young Andrew and his music knowledge and taste was way beyond his years, Dylan The Beatles and The Stones as well as punk and new wave in one hand and glam rock like Bowie,Lou Reed The Velvet Underground The Doors and Iggy Pop as well as TRex and Slade and classic 60's singer songwriters on the other.

Mixed in with Frank Zappa Genesis Hawkwind Peter Gabriel John Martyn and a love for Irish and Scottish music never a day passed that the young Andrew had some new vinyl to listen to and appreciate.All these influences from his elders had a great infuence on his own ideas about music and has stayed with him from those early years when he could rhyme off anything and everything about any artist in conversation from Abba to Zappa. 
His mum's sister Jacquie being responsible for buying him his first vinyl Blondie's Parallel Lines and the young Andrew was hooked.

A great upbringing of music of all genres this is clearly evident from his list of influences, which include Johnny Cash 
Shane MacGowan Christy Moore Bob Dylan John Lennon Bowie The Rolling Stones as well his friend and hero Tyla from the infamous Glam Rock band of the 80's....The Dogs D'Amour.

This was his diet then as much as it is now and as well as bands he grew up listening to through the 70's like The Clash The 80's Joy Division New Order U2 The Pogues The 90's The Stone Roses and Oasis to the present day where he cites Richard Ashcroft and the music from the North and of course the infamous Northern Soul scene from Wigan, where he now calls his Home from Home, as being major influences.Andrew is always on the look out to promote new music and bands in and around Wigan and the North West
