Every band has a ballad, and this was the ballad of evil by Flowers of Evil. Now sadly lost along with the unmastered album Flowers of Evil by Flowers of Evil, and featuring the hit single Flowers of Evil.

This song has me Lee Haley on Vox. And I can't remember who plays guitar because I left mine on the fucking National Express coach which went to Edinburgh and back so it might have been Dave Burdis or it might have been me, me being the evil one. One of us played the bass. Dave Dorward definitely played the drums.

It's an extremely evil song, making extensive use of the devil's interval (the flatted 5th) and with very dark lyrics dreamt up as a dystopian working daydream.

The year was circa 2014.
