About the mix:

Of course, I'm always happy when I get to start a new podcast series. This mix falls in a time in which Covid conditionally here again many things become possible. Live music may be played again. That's why I gave this mix the working title back together again. At the same time the name of the last song. A homage to my loyal followers who are now allowed to be reunited with me at the places where I play live. How nice.

About the Mix:

This mix is often using two tracks in parallel (sometimes more, sometimes less) - as we are unique, it invites you to listen carefully into the frequencies from where healing can be received.

There is no real darkness within us but sometimes the light doesn't shine bright enough. Time to remind ourselves about the truth behind darkness. It's love as there is only love everywhere - we are love. Self love and awareness is our only weapon to look behind the scene and see, all there is, is pure love. Don't judge others because of their behaviour - it's mostly mirroring something inside us.

About Alfredo: 

He started doing music back in 1986 using his so loved Commodore 64, later using his Commodore Amiga. Today, he's producing various kinds of music, from Spiritual to Downtempo over to Techno. Alfredo is using lots of organic natural sounds and instruments (Native Flute, Didgeridoo, Jaw Harp, Kalimba, Rattles, etc...) for his tracks. He likes to experiment with music as this gives Alfredo inspiration to be creative. Since 2020 he started DJing and mixing as well as this helps to spread the beauty of the spirit of music.

Last year Alfredo created his own little record label called  FruityAlfred, which is also one of his artist names, historicly given due to he worked with Fruity Loops, starting with V1.4.2 in 1999. Today Alfredo is using Ableton and Native Instruments. 

Music is a hobby to him which allows Alfredo a lot of freedom without being under pressure.

As the crew from each nation shared their gifts, the ship became a vessel of transformation, its decks aglow with the brilliant hues of diversity. A mosaic of cultures and languages woven together by the threads of unity.
In this floating sanctuary, humanity was one nation, one people, brought together by a shared vision of a brighter future. They shimmered with the radiance of their collective light, a dazzling constellation against the inky canvas of the night.

We are facing a lot of darkness in our planet at the moment, but we should not loose our faith out of sight. The storm will be over, and sun will shine if we guide the ship brave enough facing the darkest truth and learn our lessons, then we transform > dark into light < .

GroundBass is led by Thiago Ramos and only began in March 2013. The project's main feature Progressive Trance with enough influence on Techno, so the songs composed by heavy bass, dance grooves and an atmosphere club without leaving the essence of trance side, thereby fit your style in any environment.

Soon the project already has partnerships of great artists of the world scene, such as S-Range Switzerland and Funk Trunk of Israel, and just made a remix for X-Noize.

The song 'The Engineers' launched recently spawned the # TOP 40 sales in Psytrance category of the largest electronic music site in the world, Beatport.com. For 2014 in addition to remixes and partnerships is also working to release their first EP.

The project launch year ended with a fantastic performance at the biggest festival in Brazil and one of the world's largest, the Universe Paralello Festival.

Set to build on Afterlife’s mesmerizing club concept that’s striking visual and musical identity has so far showcased at Off Sonar, ADE and Ibiza for a 13-week residency at Space, brand curator’s Tale Of Us have now added an extra dimension to its forward-thinking offering with a podcast series named ‘Afterlife Voyage’. 

Launching with a rare 2 hrs mix from Tale Of Us themselves, Afterlife Voyage 001 provides a unique insight into the duo’s ‘realm of consciousness’ and features a range of unreleased tracks and upcoming Afterlife releases. With names from the Afterlife record label also confirmed to contribute to this latest musical journey – their names yet to be revealed – the launch of the podcast series further emphasizes Tale Of Us’ growing dominance within the global club scene and reiterates Afterlife’s 360 degree exploration of music and the arts. 

Venturing to London this Friday 11th and Saturday 12th November for its UK debut, Afterlife will then head to in Miami for Art Basel on Saturday 3rd December for an engaging takeover that sees Marcel Dettmann and Recondite join proceedings.

A todos nos toca afrontar los cambios. A todos nos toca ser parte de la historia. La pandemia marcó el final de la “normalidad”, y es cierto que lo “normal” ya no estaba bien. Ahora, el mundo y sus sociedades comienzan a cambiar, a florecer en un verano que es muy distinto a los anteriores. Nos toca reflexionar, poner sobre la mesa todas esas discusiones que, durante años negamos y escondimos en lo más profundo del inconsciente colectivo: sexismo, machismo, racismo, xenofobia, pederastia... Hoy, nos toca afrontar los cambios, tomar esos pequeños instantes y entregarnos a ellos, entregarnos al abismo, a la oscuridad... atravesar furiosamente ese velo y llegar a la luz. Hoy nos toca a todos ser responsables del mundo, y nos toca luchar por los/las que ya no están, por los/las que desaparecieron, por los/las que olvidamos... Hoy, nos toca afrontar los cambios, nos toca florecer. 

Padouc, grabó un podcast que sirve como interludio a su próximo EP; “Calakmul” que se estrena el 15 de junio en nuestro sello. Esta sesión musical es titulada: "One stroke of a wing, change the world in your head", y nos parece muy pertinente para la situación actual que vivimos como individuos y como sociedad. Over a hundred years ago, when our ancestors were first brought here, the land of the village was barren and gray. Everything was dull and colorless, the wind cold and bitter. Still, our ancestors worked hard. They built houses out of mountain stone, sewed warm, wadded- cotton jackets, and planted seeds in the hard dirt. 
 But, despite their efforts, the land 
refused to bear a single plant or flower. However, even though it looked hopeless, our ancestors continued to work. 
Then one night, when the moon was big and round, the air filled with a strange fluttering sound. Our ancestors thought that a great storm was coming and rushed inside. 
And a great storm was coming. With a crash, raindrops seemed to fall from the sky. 
But what strange rain it was! Round and smooth, in the glowing light the raindrops looked like silver pearls! And when they touched the ground, they disappeared. 
“It’s raining pearls!” our ancestors said to each other. “Jewels from the moon!” And they rushed out with baskets and bags, catching what they could from this strange storm. Magically, when the raindrops were caught, they didn’t disappear; and soon their baskets and bags were full. 
 But in the morning, our ancestors saw that the drops were not pearls or jewels. In the sunlight, they saw that they were really seeds. But no one knew what kind of seeds they were. Curious, they planted them in the hard earth. 
 And when the moon raised again that night, the strange rain fell again as well. This time our ancestors were not fooled and just watched the drops disappear into the ground. But in the morning, the  planted seeds were sprouting as if watered by a magic brew. 
 So night after night the seed rain fell from the sky. And as daylight broke over the land, the seedlings grew higher. Soon they grew into beautiful silver trees with golden flowers. They were so beautiful, our ancestors planted more and more seeds and soon the whole village was blooming with hundreds and hundreds of flowering trees. 
And since then our home has been called the Village of Moon Rain. We plant new seeds every day, and every night, the moon rain falls and every morning a new seedling sprouts. Maybe in another hundred years all this stony land will be covered with trees and the mountain will be as golden as the Moon.
