We're thrilled to announce our brand new podcast series, starting off with a very special mix by Berlin-based breakthrough artist @jakojako_live.

The self-taught live performer and lover of dark, atypical techno and electronic experiments, makes extensive use of modular synthesis in her productions and on stage. When not in the studio, her expertise is put to use at Berlin’s synth-mecca SchneidersLaden.

It's time for the 5th contribution to our podcast series:

Hailing from London and currently based in Berlin, the multi-talented artist and community leader has been heavily involved in making Berlin's current club culture more diverse and musically exciting.

Make sure to check out the collective she's part of, called @noshadeeu, and her Cashmere Radio show "Pass the Aux", where she brings UK urban underground music to Berlin’s doorstep, with a heavy focus on grime, hip hop, funky house and garage.

Frankfurt-based producer and DJ @l-v-z-1-e (aka DJ Tabledance) has been on the Leisure System radar for a hot minute now. We became aware of her many talents when the young breakthrough artist released a killer EP containing four cuts of simmering, acid-tinged electro on Lobster Theremin in 2018

After many years of dedication in the underground electronic music scene, the multi-talented breakthrough artist had an incredibly strong one in 2019, releasing her beautiful debut album "Bed of Roses" on @darkentriesrecords, touring the world and curating an ever-growing, inspiring catalogue for her own label @naivetrax.

She’s affiliated with labels such as @haunter-records-1, @bristolnormcore and @mothersfinestpod. In her own words, the “introverted moon child, sonic sculptor and independent researcher” “finds expression through wasted sounds, psychedelic atmospheres, rhythmic noise, schizophrenic, digital impulses and complex structures”. She draws inspiration from cyberfeminism, queer culture, gender and body studies.

We're back with positive vibes and no. 10 of our podcast series, mixed by British-born, Berlin-based DJ and producer @gramrcy. 

In the past, he's had several guest slots on radio stations like NTS and Rinse FM, used to organize parties in Bristol as well as Berlin and since 2019 he co-runs the label @peachdiscs with his long-time friend @shanticeleste.
As a producer and in his DJ sets, Gramrcy's colorful sound is heavily infused with UK-style Bass, House & Techno, finessed with breaks and other classic rave elements. The mix he contributed showcases his range and style perfectly. Listen closely for lots of fresh, unreleased tunage (forthcoming on Peach Discs + other imprints) and enjoy an uplifting, bouncy, energetic party train. The next hour will make you want to DANCE.

We're back with No. 11 of our podcast series, mixed by Berlin-based producer, DJ and fashion designer @ausschuss.

The up and coming artist is affiliated with Italian experimental imprint @haunter-records-1 on which he released his debut "Room 1" in 2018 and UK-label @cr_label. Before its shutdown he hosted his own monthly show on Berlin Community Radio. His style can be defined by sub-heavy, energetic and percussive rhythms, combined with interesting sound design, tastefully mixing Club and Bass Music, Techno, Experimental, Ambient as well as different kinds of breaks.
