Seit über 25 Jahren an den Plattentellern hat er Rosenheim die letzten Jahre
ordentlich auf den Kopf gestellt. Zuletzt hat er 10 Jahre lang den Rosenheimer Kult Club Hundertquadrat erfolgreich betrieben und diesen mit seinem Booking immer wieder über die Landesgrenzen hinaus bekannt gemacht. So ziemlich jeder große Name war dort und hat dort mit ihm gespielt.
Doch das ist längst nicht alles. 
Seit vielen Jahren ist er erfolgreicher Veranstalter des jährlichen Mega Festivals „Echelon“, welches 2021 seinen zwölften Geburtstag feiert.
Dort gibt sich die Creme de la Creme der elektronischen Szene Jahr für Jahr die Klinke in die Hand und nicht umsonst ist das Echelon das größte Festival seiner Art im süddeutschen Raum.

The DBH Music Distribution GmbH, founded in 2007, has established itself as one of the few leading worldwide vinyldistributors for electronic clubmusic. The aspiring era of electronic music in the late 90s led Herr Oppermann behind the decks at an early age. Driven by an enthusiasm for the electronic sounds of synthesizers, he quickly developed a deep connection to the music that still permeates his work today. His passion began with his own events and a residency at a club in his home town. From there, his path led him to further stations, including a  weekly radio show as well as performances in clubs such as the legandary Stammheim in Kassel, Warehouse in Cologne, Uebel & Gefährlich in Hamburg or the JuicyBeats Festival in Dortmund just to name a few. 

As a DJ, Herr Oppermann transforms his dedication to music onto the audience, combining classic and modern elements of electronic music. His style describes a varied journey between deep, minimalistic elements to Afro- and Melodic-Tech-House and makes each of his sets a journey with a lot of variety. 

With releases on labels like Tach & Nacht, Amber Recordings and Deep Stories, he also shows his producer qualities by transferring his intimate relationship to electronic music into melodic tech house. His commitment to the creative diversity of the scene is reinforced by his work as a host of the renowned Klangextase podcast series and for the Deep Stories Label Crew.

When one could assume, &ME entered the House and Techno world somewhat out of the blue, it is due to his sublime modesty that’s already captured in his alias. His way to become one of today’s most praised and sought after DJ/producers is based on a solid foundation. A foundation comprised of solo-releases, remixes, projects and collaborations that numerous, we’d rather refer to his discography than weary you with namedropping. Besides, all those references would just distract from what truly matters – the music this guy is delivering. Not to underestimate the importance of a project such as Terranova for &ME’s current path, but still the alignment has been made – to focus consistently on his solo-work. And it shows.

There are not many artists around turning in such a slew of globally praised floormaterial like &ME did over the last years. Just think of his last offerings on Keinemusik, a collective of Berlin based DJs and producers, including Rampa, Adam Port, Reznik & artist Monja Gentschow, he helped founding in 2009, namely “After Dark” and “Woods” or his “Vermillion”-remix for Damian Lazarus – all serious bangers, played by every renowned DJ worldwide. Everything is falling into place for the fella. His DIY-approach to handle things, his easy going attitude, his reputation as a gifted producer and DJ extraordinaire, his ability to link innovative production with consensual reception, making him one of the most unique and original figures in the game.

Cocoon Recordings has been founded in the year 2000 as a part of the Cocoon Music Event GmbH. Sven Väth has initiated Cocoon Recordings in order to complete the Cocoon platform as a supporting tool for young artists in Electronic Music. The label philosophy is as simple as demanding: helping young producers and DJs to release their music without depending on Major Label structures. The releases can mainly be assigned to the genres Techno and House.

Cocoon Recordings as a label and Sven Väth as an artist stand for the use of vinyl as sound carrier, also in the future. Admittedly, the Digital Division of Cocoon Recordings has also been set up in 2008 and the numbers of downloads are indeed enjoyable. However, the label's focus is on vinyl, now and in the future. In order to complete the range of services that Cocoon Recordings offers, the publishing company Cocoon Publishing was founded in 2010.
