In Hour 2 it's DJ Khalab from Italy (another Black Acre artist), who has collaborated with Solid Steel 2014 Mix of the Year winner Clap!Clap! He had this to say about his mix;
"The beat tape is divided in two parts. The first one is the pure beat tape, with tracks totally unreleased, and it most represents the beatmaking aspect and field recording. It's the more instinctive and it's all made by the sampler (sp404), which is the central hub of this part.
The second part is made integrally by unreleased tracks and remixes composed with some friends of mine (clap clap!, mo kolours, ninos du brasil). It's the part that more represent the job of the producer, it was made in the studio with several softwares, sequencers, synthesizers."

From tropical parties and jazz nights, to house and techno clubs, Aroop has DJ'd in 5 continents and had residencies in London, Geneva and Tokyo, where he played an important part in the underground scene with hugely popular and innovative club nights absolute!!, Exposure and Culture.

Other highlights include his highly acclaimed compilation CD absolute!! Sounds From Tokyo, and an invitation to do a guest mix on Gilles Peterson's Worldwide radio show. He was also selected for the Red Bull Music Academy in Melbourne.
