A six hour DJ session from Manchester's Band on the Wall alongside the incredible @tarzsa_williams, hosted by MC Kwasi. 

Mostly uptempo styles on this one, and some mega energy on the dance floor. Had some great feedback during the night about Tarzsa. Big shout to all the venue crew, regulars and first timers!

Big shout to the Bounce crew at Biko in Milan for a well needed, properly vibey gig! The dance crew got busy with their regular 1 hour warm up session, then resident @Turbojazz and I played for 6 hours.

Happy 2025 to all the Idlers out there! We're back with our first mix missive of the year - and it's a doozy. When it comes to edit records, so much has already been done. These London-based boys decided to ditch the well-trod paths of Disco, Boogie & Soul to dive headfirst into the devil's maw that is American Rock & Country music, making some of the best we’d heard in awhile, subtly turning some of the stodgiest 60's & 70's shitkicker jams into glorious glitterball anthems. The fact that they're kickass DJ's to boot made this decision a no-brainer! Ladies & germs, please welcome to the Idle Cellars Mix Series stable - Flying Mojito Bros! These two fine gents were extremely gracious - if not eager! - to tackle the Idle Cellars brief and we all have hit the jackpot. Presenting "Americana Pacifica" - we would call it Balearica re-imagined through the lens of US AOR, soft rock, country and more. Accompanying the mix is this message from FMB:

Rugged, saline guitar jams and sea-smoothed rock – from really recent finds to long-cherished shoreline treasures once popped in our pockets for another day, another day. Well – yesterday's mañana has come.
