Oh my God. Lost and found. From the old days of record playing. My live special for the Jazzanova Radio in March 2005, 20 years ago. Back then I was very influenced by my work for the Kaleidoskop parties at Cafe Moskau and my monthly DJing at the Icon Club for ‘Solid Steel - Ninjatune’! After 17 years of non-stop parties - 12 of them under the umbrella of Nitsa Club - Libido said goodbye leaving behind dozens of memorable nights at the club. Amp Fiddler, Mike Huckaby, Glenn Underground, Dee Diggs, Ata Kak, and Jamie Tiller, among others, took to the booth of the party run by Pau Roca and Gon, which became a true institution when it comes to dance music in Barcelona.

For this final edition of Libido, in addition to inviting some of the party’s regular DJs such as Breixo Martínez, Dadame, Pablo Torres, and PeBe, they put together a special 10” record featuring tracks by Pau Roca himself and DJ Bruce Lee, as well as a fanzine with photos, texts, and memories from these 17 years.

Here at SOULMEEX, we couldn’t be prouder about bringing to you exclusively the b2b of Pau and Gon which closed this amazing chapter of their music careers.
