Last week's show was definitely one of my favorites to date. It's weird how things work. It's the shows that I feel most unprepared for that end up doing well... maybe it's because I just really freestyle and go off of my whole library of music rather than trying to curate a specific vibe. It was hard to top last week's show but I did my best to really take it right back to the early beat era from 2008-2012 and played some current gems as well. I hope you enjoy this. I'll be back next week with a guest maybe.

Eritrean-American DJ, producer an all-around creative Eden Hagos brings visibility to those future sounds that you can’t quite put your genre finger on. Deeply rooted in underground hip-hop, sample-based, percussion-heavy tunes, and future bass, Eden’s ear for unique sounds has kept her digging since her uncle gave her her first Fugees album at age 16.

Eden has dropped 20 mix-tapes - the third installation, "Currently", caught the attention of OkayPlayer deeming the young beatstress "a prophet of future sounds". The beat scene and local producers started listening and partnerships with artists, labels, and connectors in the community became plentiful.

Miss Hagos’ love for creative culture has led to opportunities to perform at underground clubs, international festivals, and celebrity and fashion events alike. She has opened for Snakehips, Anderson. Paak, Jmsn, Syd tha Kid, Tokimonsta, Sango, and Goldlink to name a few.

Eden is poised to bring light to the beat makers in this movement while uncovering and educating folks along the way of all of the genres that exist within these future sounds.

With an overwhelming response from the last "People's Choice" show, we had to bring it back and allow you to choose the track selections for this show. I even set aside a segment where I had my 2 guys behind Soulection TV talk about their experiences with Soulection and how it is chopping up the footage and seeing things that many don't.

On the other hand, I was contacted by my good friend Daddy Kev over from Low End Theory/Alpha Pup and he said he had this Nujabes Tribute mix that he made and wanted to see what I thought of it. I listened to it on my way up to Red Bull Studios and fell in love with it and had to include it on this show. I figured since we did a Dilla Tribute that it was only right that we do a Nujabes tribute as well right? Much respect to these legends. We hope you enjoy.
