Pierre d'Estienne d'Orves is Tour-Maubourg, a defining force in France’s contemporary electronic music landscape, shaping the evolution of nu-jazz and house with his distinctive sound. His productions have resonated widely, earning millions of streams on Spotify and establishing him as one of the most compelling artists in recent years.

Drawing from influences like St Germain, Nicolas Jaar, and Ron Trent, he first gained industry recognition with a series of well-received EPs between 2017 and 2020. His debut album, Paradis Artificiels (2020), was met with critical acclaim, securing coverage in imprints such as Tsugi, Trax or DJ Mag and even leading to a televised live performance on Séquences (France Télévision).

In 2023, he pushed his sonic boundaries further with Spaces of Silence, an album that fluidly merges soulful house, acid jazz, and experimental elements, earning praise from critics. The following year, he embarked on a new musical journey alongside French saxophonist Ismael Ndir, blending jazz with electronic textures in their debut duo EP, The Panorama Sessions, recorded in Brussels. His latest release, The Floating on Silence EP and Remixes, features collaborations with K-Lone, I:Cube, and other notable artists on Noire & Blanche.

Tour-Maubourg’s presence extends beyond the studio, as he has performed at some of Europe’s most respected venues, including Rex, Badaboum, Night Tales Loft, or Sisyphos, plus an uncountable number of festivals.

Balearic Potion Volume III: Mondo Ritmo

Jouissif et percutant, le premier EP de Walter Cornelius est un bijou pour les afficionados de la scène beats. En avant première pour Le Mellotron, on vous propose le titre éponyme "Waco" dont le style nous rappelle un certain beatmaker du côté de Caen. Bravo.

Français de naissance, basé à Londres, Walter Cornelius est un producteur/musicien d’electronic-psychedelic bass music. Dès ses 4 ans, Walter se passionne pour la batterie et débute un peu plus tard les percussions, la guitare et la basse.

A 18 ans, il rentre au Conservatoire de Jazz de Lyon pour développer ses ressources tambourinantes. Avec un groupe d’amis, il est le co-fondateur du collectif « l’Affect ».
Pendant ce temps, Walter continue sa production de musiques Hip-hop, Trap & Dirty Beats, influencées par Flying Lotus, EPROM, LTGL or The Great Dane. Basé sur Londres depuis 1 an, il y découvre une nouvelle ville pleine de ressources qui influence son style. Il développe ainsi son travail en faisant notamment de multiples collaborations avec des artistes venant des quatre coins de notre planète. Toujours développant sa créativité, la musique de Walter est pleine de surprises – ce qui amène à chaque écoute, de nouvelles découvertes.
 
C'est en Décembre 2015 que Walter Cornelius commence à produire son premier Ep : WACO, composé de 4 tracks Chill Hip-Hop - Dirty Beats. On reconnaît le travail riche en influences et aux résonances multiples que Walter a développé sur Lyon en les mixant avec un nouveau style anglais. Les quatre titres sont donc le résultat de l'évolution de l'artiste dans un nouvel environnement. Il sont malgré tout, plongés dans une atmosphère épique faite de beat puissants et d'ambiances fortes, propres au style du Walter. WACO vous fera passer d'atmosphère lumineuses et calmes de « Another Spirit » ou « How the Sun should Rise » au Hip-Hop percussif de « Ruisso » en passant par un sombres son trap de « Waco ».
